So what's up this weekend?

Today is the last day of school so I don't know if I should be :wooot or :dizzy
but either way no more getting up at 6am and packing lunches, signing folders and most of all no more dealing with HOMEWORK. We have lots of fun summer things planned so it should be good :)

We have nothing going on this weekend and I am so excited about that. Our weekends are usually so busy it's going to be nice just to hang out by the pool, grill and watch some movies with Brian (my DH). He's been in Seattle for the last week so it's nice having him home.
 
I am so exhausted from my week, I wish I could crawl in bed for 24 hours! We have dinner plans tonight and Saturday though, but not much to do during the week, so hopefully I can sleep in a bit and try to recover.
 
My hubby and I are going camping, without kids, and with two other fun couples. I can't wait. :) I love my boys dearly, but it's exciting to think about camping the way we used to before we had them. We're going to mid-Indiana in a pretty hilly region, so we're actually going to be able to do some mountain biking and some real hiking! It is supposed to storm tonight, so not super excited about that, but I'm really just looking forward to the adventure of no real plans for each day. The truck is packed and I'm only working til noon! Woo-hoo! :)
 
Well, for the first time in 3 weeks my hubby is expecting a good check and we don't have any bills to pay so we're going on a long overdue date night either tonight or tomorrow. We're also going to get my oldest his birthday present (his birthday is the 15th) so we have to do that before we can do our actual "date" because we have no idea how much it'll cost. We're getting him this, but we want to look for one reconditioned since we want to be able to get him at least 3-4 games. The poor boy has been using my little brother's old gameboy advanced (it's like the first gameboy advanced that came out old lol), and he hasn't been asking for a new one but he's been begging for new games, and the new games don't work on the one he has, and of course they don't make games for it anymore....

lol - sorry I went off on a little tangent.
 
Finishing up our end of year testing today (not state required but I want her to be comfortable with standardized tests and it helps give me an idea if I'm missing anything major since I don't follow a standard curriculum). It's supposed to really nice this weekend so we may go to the park if the storms stay away. Other than that just hanging at home.
 
not sure we have any real plans. i have to do laundry. maybe we'll make up a summer list this weekend. we've got to get some plan of action in place because otherwise my kids are gonna "i'm bored" me to death! :dizzy
 
Rebecca did you see that 100 things to do for summer list..I posted in somewhere...they had some good ideas there!

We spent the day at the beach. My kids have been on holiday for the last two weeks, and the idea of spending another day at home with nothing to do made me crazy. I'll be really glad to get back into our routine next week when the holiday is over!
 
I didn't get much done this week (had the flu), so I've got a lot of housework to catch up on, unfortunately. Also my oldest (8) is starting football, so we've got to pick up his equipment, buy shoes, socks, etc. for that. That should keep us pretty busy!
 
Today is the last day of our vacation - this weekend we will be driving 918 miles home. Thankfully, my kids are great in the car.
 
We still have 2 weeks left of school ( damn those snow days LOL). This weekend we are going to the lake! and hike, swim, see the waterfall! Hubby is oncall all weekend so it will probally be interuppted with work LOL
 
Not too much on the agenda for this weekend. Wrapping up some loose ends on a few projects and hopefully relaxing and scrapping a lot. ♥
 
I hope the weather stays nice! I want to spend the weekend in NYC. There's the Renegade Craft festival on Saturday and a bbq festival on Sunday. And there's my niece's dance recital in there too. Hope you all have a great one!
 
We have a date date night... we are staying at the Magnolia Hotel and hanging at Art Fest tonight/tomorrow... just hubby and I! a bit of romance to end a busy week! :)
 
I'm actually in the car on the way to south bend (Indiana) for a wedding - my oldest is the flower girl :) I'm hoping to scrap during the drive - I haven't scrapped all week!
 
Cleaning, cleaning, and did I mention cleaning?

DH is installing our new dishwasher today so my kitchen is a wreck! I am bringing my parent's steam cleaner when I go to visit them and pick up my girls, so cleaning the carpets and the furniture and the cars before that goes back. And then prepping for a job interview I have on Tuesday!
 
gotta work tonight and all day tomorrow. I think I'll rest and do laundry on Sunday..I'm leaving mid week to go see my sisters, so I need to get some things done before I leave.
 
Surprisingly we don't have much planned this weekend. My brother is coming to visit this evening and tomorrow we are going to dinner with my inlaws for my FIL's 60th birthday. Other then that we are just relaxing!
