I survived the party on Friday! It actually went really well. All of the girls came, but the group that she's not as close with left right when the party was over and the rest of the girls stayed another 2.5 hours, until about 8pm. In the three hours of the actual party they managed to take 1,007 photos with the photo booth we set up. And Chipotle catering for 20 was no match for 15 8th grade girls!
The photo booth was a huge hit and I had most of the kinks worked out this time with both lighting and photo delivery. Here's one of my favorites of my daughter and one of her close friends...
Saturday night Clara and her friend decided that they were too old to trick or treat, so they carved pumpkins on the front porch and handed out candy. When they were ready to come in, another friend joined them and they watched scary movies all night (ended up in a last minute sleepover).
Today was church, laundry and relaxing... but now my son isn't feeling well. Hopefully it'll run it's course quickly!
