It's Friday! :woot
What do you have planned for the weekend?
I hope everyone has a great one! Happy 4th to my friends in the US.

We're going to the traditional fireworks, BBQ and relaxation at the lake route this week. Ahhhhh. :)

Happy 4th of July to you! Our 'big' day was on a Wednesday this year, just doesn't seem to have the same mid-week as opposed to hooked up to a weekend.

My little town has the annual rib fest going on this weekend so I am sure I will wander down for some fresh pulled pork and maybe a drink or two. I live in walking distance so I don't have to worry about parking ;). Been sick for over a week so hopefully feel well enough to enjoy. Other than that maybe get caught up on the housework/laundry that I have let sit because I felt so yucky.

Trying to finish the last major part of my thesis that should have been done already (panic), and this part is soooo boring. Research analysis and blah blah blah.

:hissy

We are at the beach house, but I can't enjoy it at the moment. We will try to get out to take Kennedy to watch fireworks tomorrow night. Otherwise, I'm trying to keep my nervous tummy settled and keep the words flowing.

The good point is that we got out of town. It was an unlikely 96 at our house yesterday (after being hot the last week and a half). Usually it is rainy until mid July. But it is much cooler here, so that is a positive.

cutting the grass, weeding the garden, watching the american 4th fireworks in Boston and Washington DC on TV......
hopefully doing some scrapping.

Scrapping. ... i want to get ahead of the monthly challenges! ;)

We will probably take the kids outside on the driveway tomorrow night for fireworks. We live close enough to the high school where they go off to see pretty clearly.

Happy 4th folks in US! :)

We had grand plans of going to a lake and having a picnic on a boat.. Yep - grand plans! :) but the forecast is of super heavy rains so plans have been scrapped .... Think it's stay at home mainly now :)

It's too hot!!! Abnormally warm here. Husband on call at work. So quiet weekend with no plans. We may try to do something special tomorrow (4th) like BBQ or something. Scrapping or knitting-- that's my question.

We are having little guests this weekend, so time will fly!

I think I am like everyone else, it's hot here so even the cookouts will be more indoors! The beach here has been cooler but more i land where I is 100 most days already. Ugh...sweat is gross, haha
We are a firefighter family so a bunch of the couples and kiddies will be hanging out together.

I'm going to spend the 4th packing for vacation. We leave Sunday for the beach, so tomorrow will be filled with getting all the last minute details taken care of :) We'll probably skip the fireworks since it will be an early Sunday morning.

I live in AZ.... it's 111111111111111111111110 degrees. feels like, at least. :giggle

I'm staying indoors (it's blazing hot here in Seattle) and on the 4th I'm staying home and watching out for burning embers from the neighborhood boys' fireworks. Everything in the Pacific Northwest is dry a kindling. Fire danger everywhere!!

Well I am Canadian and we just celebrated Canada Day. I am working all weekend and my boys and husband are gone to camp! Have a great weekend everyone!

Well, we got off Thursday and Friday from work for the 4th, so we went up a little further North in Michigan and went camping with my MIL at her lake trailer. It was awesome and I even hosted my speed scrap from the campground with my handy dandy hotspot on my phone. :) Then we came home on the 4th so we could go to the fireworks on the beach.

Yesterday we had four family come over and had a fish fry with all the yummy blue gill and perch my hubby has been catching this spring/summer. Then we were having so much fun we decided to take today off work and went to the beach for the first time this summer. It was perfection! :)
