DH is still trying to get my car operational again.
DD is having a sleepover at the ILs', and they are going to watch DS for a few hours so we can go out to eat for DH's birthday. I'm tempted to stay home and sleep vs. having dinner out.
Oh, and VBS starts for DD tomorrow night. She still reminds me abt how one kid threw up on her last summer during VBS. Hopefully this year will be less eventful for her.

took her to the Dr the next morning and she has a concussion. so she is on what he calls "Brain Rest" until all symptoms go away. no reading, no friends, no electronics/vid games, no activity really at all ... can watch a little light TV or listen to music. should be an interesting weekend around here. how do i entertain a 12 yr old with that list of no-no's?!?!?
