It's Friday!!! (Aaaaand the crowd went wild!)
What do you have planned for the weekend?

I picked my mom up at the airport last night and she's here to visit for a long weekend. I am soooo thankful to have some time with her. :heartlub
My oldest daughter has her winter formal on Saturday night, so we will be in girly mode for the next two days.

I am looking forward to a great weekend- hope you have a wonderful one as well! :)

I just defrosted some deep frozen blueberries and I'll make blueberry pancakes tonight. The rest of the weekend I will recover from doing MOC :-) :-)

Fancy dinner tonight. My mom got my dad a special calendar with buy one get one entrees at some of the more upscale restaurants around the area. Tonight we're going to the January restaurant (better late than never).

Tomorrow is the pet expo. It's expensive, but I wanna go because I love animals.

As for the rest of the weekend, I have no idea what I'm gonna do. We'll see.

Life has returned to some sort of normalcy around our place and it feels great! Finally!

Tonight we're meeting up with some friends that we haven't seen in a couple of months.

Tomorrow we'll be attending a retirement party for a close friend of ours that just retired from the Air Force but not before I finish all the laundry and clean the bathrooms. (I seriously have to ask myself am I the only one in the house that knows how to use cleanser and a rag to clean!?!?!?!)

SuperBowl Sunday! You will find me online (probably pestering all my Seahawk fans) and waiting patiently for the SuperBowl ads!

Y'all have a great weekend!

Clearing out a wardrobe in our bedroom that has been used for storage rather than clothes! Why oh why?

Tomorrow morning Ty has football (soccer) training

Other than that nothing much planned, but we often play weekends by ear so anything could happen

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

We are soaking up some good family time and eating things like Chili on Superbowl Sunday. And I'll be working on February BYOC too too. :beat

Tonight I'm going over to a friends house to scrap and finish my last MOC layout (and drink a little wine). Tomorrow I intend to sleep in until at least 9:00 and then I think we are going to get the kids outside for awhile. I'm thinking of going for a photo walk and dragging them all with me. :) Tomorrow night I'm parking on the couch with my half-knit hat project and I'm going to finish my hat and watch Downton Abby which I haven't even started this year yet.

Sunday we have sunday school, church and then I'll watch the commercials, I mean the Super Bowl with my hubby. :)

We are celebrating my daughter's 12th Bday tomorrow (where has the time gone!). She's having a friend over for the weekend and so is my son. Hopefully we have beautiful weather!

I am so excited for this weekend because I am finally getting a new computer...one with a much needed 12GB of memory! I've been saving all of my pennies and completed our taxes last weekend so I can use that, too. And then my goal was to complete MOC before going out to get it. So, now that that's done, I'm headed to Best Buy tomorrow to get a new computer and huge monitor (I'm trying to decide between 25 and 27 inch).

I'm also looking forward to some family time. My husband is training for a marathon and the kids and are are heading out to his running route with him in the morning so we can have fresh water waiting to give him a water break half way through his 20 mile run.

I'm going to catch up on laundry, file some old bills (gotta keep for 7 years, pain in the rear lol), tidy, donate a whole bunch of toys we don't need, freecycle some stuff & do homework. Also planning on finishing the monthly challenges, I think I've got three to go :)

My mom came by for a brief visit this morning.

I had to cancel lunch with a friend because we are unexpectedly heading to the beach house. Something appears to be wrong. The other day the electric bill came and was 2-3x higher than it has ever been, and today the water bill came via email and is ASTRONOMICAL. I'm thinking maybe the water heater? I dunno. Ugh. We haven't been there in a month, so I'm kinda dreading getting there to see what the problem is. I know... first world problems. :/ I'm waiting for hubby to get home so we can make the trip. Keeping my fingers crossed.

But then Sunday we're going to watch the Seahawks win win win. ;)
