TGIF! What's on for the weekend?

It's Friday!! It's the end of a very busy week for me and I am looking forward to the weekend. What about you? What do you have planned for the weekend?

As for me, I am headed to my favorite farmer's market in the morning. Then, the family and I are going to a Butterfly festival at a local botanical garden. It's a long-time tradition and always super fun. Then, we have reservations at our favorite sushi place for dinner. On Sunday, church and then...Project Life! I am hoping to (finally) get caught up. It's supposed to rain on Sunday afternoon, so I am going to lock myself in my craft room and get to work.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! :)

sounds like my dream Saturday, Laura!! Have a great weekend & I can't wait to see your PL page from the butterflies & sushi!

We are in our last weekend before school starts on Thursday. Today and tomorrow me and the boy are home hanging out while the girl is away at camp. Hubby is at work today, so I will try to finish a curtain project for a surprise for the girl, and play legos and watch cartoons with the boy! Saturday is a birthday party with the boy, and cleaning. Sunday is church and hopefully Project Life pages here (I don't think i can get caught up though...lol!) Yay for weekends!

After weeks and weeks of being on the constant go with work, vacations, and other obligations......this will be our 1st weekend of having absolutely no plans except to be H.O.M.E. since before Memorial Weekend!!!!! Other than catching up on laundry, cleaning bathrooms, and the rest of the house, I can't wait to just rest & relax at the hacienda!

Today is hubby's birthday. It's rainy and i'm just having out right now until later when I will pick up the kiddo from his gram's, make some awesome dinner and maybe have a campfire in the yard. We are celebrating tomorrow with family at our home and Sunday is open. Ideally, I would love to go to the nearby state park and row boat with our lil guy.

ummm... Yard work. Middle School football swim party. Buying school supplies. Laundry. Grocery store. That's all on my list for now :).

We are taking our older son to a church camp tomorrow morning so after that we'll only have one boy at home... It's supposed to be warm and sunny through the weekend so maybe we'll go to the beach or take a picnic. I'll also visit my mom this weekend.

going to mom's tonight. neighborhood garage sale is tomorrow...might hit farmer's market too...

Expecting some heat this weekend, so think a pool afternoon for Saturday, and lots and lots of pictures! Saturday night, my 4 oldest (the BIGs) come back from a Bible Bootcamp! This is one intense time. Enlisted to Endure. Only my boys went last year, and I was so not wanting to send my delicate twins, but they wanted too... I can not wait to see them, they have been gone for a week. This is the longest I have been away from them! Crazy!!!
Sunday is all day church, fellowship and enjoy. I know I can squeeze in some scrapping too!!!

DH is on call this weekend so we're sticking close to home. Unfortunately this means missing my nephews birthday party.

I am planning on getting some PL pages done as well, though.

We're still rolling in the relaxed summer non-schedule thing, so no definite plans. It's hot, so whatever we do will definitely involve air conditioning. :giggle

This is my last quiet weekend before we ramp up into KID CRAZY activities for the next few weeks .... so I am going to enjoy it and try to catch up. I do have to do some cleaning downstairs as I will have a pile of squealing 16 year old girls (and a couple of boyfriends) coming here before my eldest DDs Semi Formal next Saturday night (I think it is like your Prom yes?) ...... I am not emotionally ready to have my baby girl glamming up and heading off on the arm of her boyfriend ....eeep!

Hoping for not much! It's my last full weekend with the kids before they go to their dad's until school. Hoping to get some pool time in, but the weather hasn't been too cooperative.

Weekend are always my busiest. Kids and husband at home all day, with 2 housemates - I need to prepare 2 meals each for Saturday and Sunday. Sundays are my market days, ironing the whole week's worth of clothes for hubby and kids (office and school). I get to do most of my projects in the evenings after dinner.

Project Life catch up is also on my list and working on some new goodies (when I can still squeeze it in) :)

That being said - you can probably guess we don't go out that often. DH's excuse is he's tired from working and want to rest (sometimes it makes me think if i don't ever get tired?) LOL!

I'll be driving my daughter to and from work (30m RT) on Sat and Sun. Vacuuming (fun!). Laundry (even MORE fun!). I joined a couple of photography meet-up groups, and one of them is meeting this Sunday, but I don't know if I'll be able to make it. There'll be a polo horse match, house tours, and there's a 3.5 mile trail to walk IF I can get there. It's at the Will Rogers Historic State Park. I would love to get some out-of-the-usual pictures this weekend to get those creative juices flowing.

Otherwise, nothin'. Oh, taking Baxter out to the park, maybe even a dog park now that he's got his rabies vaccination done.

It's my eldest's 21st birthday today - having his party when we move to the new house next month - Going out for small family birthday celebrations tonight.

We had a busy Saturday, two soccer games, meeting with builders and my insane SIL visiting as well as cooking birthday cheesecake. Rest day tomorrow...

I am sat in bed full of a head cold :( So gutted as the weather is lovely today too would have loved to go somewhere!! Oh well... maybe next weekend :(

Today my husband and I are going to check out the new 2nd & Charles bookstore that opened at the local mall, then a cookout/pool party with a friend. Tomorrow is all about grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning!

We are counting down now to our trip to Fort Jackson, SC to see Bradley graduate from Basic Training . . . this summer has gone so fast as time seems to move from one letter to another . . . just three more weeks!

Great to see you guesting here, Mye!! <3

This weekend - and next week - I am packing, packing, packing and more packing. And then I'll probably do some packing. This is my least favorite part of moving. Besides the actual physical loading and unloading the truck part. OH and then the I-have-all-these-boxes-and-I'm-so-tired-but-I-can't-find-my-toothbrush part. But I really am excited to move into my new house. I just wish I had a fairy godmother who could wave her wand and we would be all moved in and unpacked...that's not too much to ask, is it?

shhhh - just between you and me...I am hoping to sneak some scrapping in there somewhere...the other night I got up at 1am and scrapped until I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore at 3am. LOL A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do...A true artist suffers for her art. Bwahahahaha

We drove 3.5 hours each way to spend the day with my grandparents yesterday. Today we're having a pajama day since its our last weekend before school starts and today is very gray and rainy. Tomorrow is church and a back-to-school bash for the kiddos at church in the afternoon. Trying to soak up all the laziness before school starts on Wednesday!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. We've had a buttload of rain and thunderstorms all through this weekend, with a break yesterday afternoon where we could spend some time outside. I got a lot of gardening/pulling weeds done for my mom, which was nice. I love gardening :) We are having a new thunderstorm outside right now, so I have my windows open and enjoying my morning coffee. Loving the sound of thunder :)
