TGIF!!! What's on for the weekend?

We made it to Friday! :yesss

Today is my baby's 6th birthday. *sniff* We're having a big gymnastics party with all of her friends tonight. It's going to be so much fun and she's super excited! Tomorrow will probably be mostly recovering from the fun. LOL My mom is here visiting so I think DH and I will sneak out for a date night too. We have church on Sunday and then back into our school routine and bedtimes. Woot for that too!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!! :wub

Sounds like fun!

Nothing too special going on this weekend. We've got a charity event that we're attending tomorrow but other than that......time with the grandkids on Sunday and maybe some pool time!

I need to take the kids to get haircuts. School starts next Friday!!!!!
Other than that, I would really just like to enjoy our last weekend before school starts and hopefully not have to break up any fights!

Errands and DD has her horseback riding lesson. That's really about it...hoping to get some scrapping done, we'll see how that goes.

I am on vacation next week and I am counting down the hours! Don't have any fancy plans, just some errands, craftiness and relaxing no the agenda!

I'm seeing 'Ruby Sparks' tonight with a GF (first time in a theater in 3 years!!) and grabbing some grub while Hubs is on kid duty. He and his son are going camping this weekend, so Monkey and I will be able to chill out in the house and do gurl stuff all weekend. So excited!!

I'll prolly stay up ridiculously late Saturday/Sunday since I'll have the computer all to myself and can scrap! :beat:giggle

Happy Birthday to your DD Laura!

My dad is in town and we're having a big family get together tonight with a bunch of other relatives. Otherwise, things are pretty low key, which is good.

Happy birthday to your sweet girl Laura!

I am so glad this crazy week is over! Hubby has planned date night tomorrow night for us with dinner and the new Meryl Streep Tommy Lee Jones movie Hope Springs while our daughter is at a sleepover party. Hoping Sunday will be a day of rest and relaxation

Hope the b-day party is a big success! :)

I took the day off work today. our sitter had to be out of town, so I just took it off and hung out with my boys and scrapped a little too. We watched Honey I Shrunk the Kids. Fun older movie. :)

Tomorrow the boys are having a garage sale. They get to keep the money from whatever they sell, so they were very willing to part with lots of their old toys. Yay! :) We set it all up last night and they helped me put price tags on it all. They are very excited. :)

Sunday we are going to a 30th wedding anniversary party for my Aunt and Uncle. I'll get to see my 91 year old Grandma that I haven't seen in way too long. I'm excited?

Saturday morning right now in my part of the world. Am nursing a major migraine, but all 4 kids have a swim meet today (a fun one, sort of). My 7 year old baby is going to be joining his older siblings today, so I *must* be there to cheer him on! :)

I did a gymnastics party for my last birthday, too. <stretch> I'm a real sight to behold on the uneven bars.

This afternoon was wine and pedicures with a couple of friends (or "Lady Time" as Nicholas calls it). Then it was grocery shopping PLUS pantry and fridge cleaning - just to skyrocket my daily glamour levels straight through the roof. I'm about to get my Zsa Zsa on by emptying the dishwasher and de-furring the living room carpet and furniture.

Tomorrow and Sunday are a mystery. The cable man comes tomorrow morning to install cable in my office, so I'll probably just sit at my desk reveling in the awesomeness of it all.

I totally needed a weekend now, I've been exhausted this week :lol We're not doing a whole lot, other than cleaning this house :)

Gosh I remember my "little kid" birthdays and how much fun it was to have all my girlfriends over to MY house and have a sleepover. My parents did the best job with it-- they were just involved enough to be "cool" and keep us safe but the didn't hover and spy. I miss that!

We are making a huge transition in my daughter's room today from baby to big girl. We are ceremoniously saying goodbye to the crib, baby toys, etc and busting out the big girl bed! Exciting. :)
ps Rona, hope you feel better
