TGIF! What's on for the weekend?

It's Friday!!! Aren't you glad the weekend is here!? What do you have planned?

It's still 4000 degrees (ok, maybe not THAT hot, but close!) so DH and I are taking the kids to the aquarium this weekend. Should be fun! I'm also going to spend some time in my studio getting organized because it's a mess. I'm gearing up for annual girls scrap getaway with my BFF, so I really need to get my supplies in order. Otherwise, we're on the downhill slide to the start of school, so I think we'll be doing some supply shopping as well.

We have a family reunion this weekend and I want to pick up a few things for the kids for school. I really would love to have a relaxing weekend. The kids I babysit have driven me batty this week!

Well.....we have been in an Extreme drought for the past 4 months and this morning its raining BUT that's before it gets to 105 degrees today so not much going on today. After 4 weekends of straight going, going, going......I'm really looking forward to this weekend of a little rest and catching up with my laundry since my washer just got repaired yesterday. YEA! 7 loads of laundry!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

We need to do a major cleaning on our apt, DD has a scout meeting, and we need to get some groceries. Fun times.

Probably just working while watching my lawn die on the other side of my office windows. Tonight I pick the boy up from Scout Camp, he's been gone all week - banquet and Court of Honors tonight, then an hour in the car with him where he'll talk about how mean I am for making him spend a week without electronics or refrigerated lunch meats.

We have a kid-free weekend planned starting now! My MIL just took the kiddos. Today I am going to catch up on some sleep until Chris comes home from work. I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend with my hubby!

Well...this is the last weekend before school starts (!!!!) so we are still in "getting back to our school year normalcy" mode. Today we go to her school for the meet-and-greet and open house wherein we will learn who her teacher is and if she will be in the K and 1st class or the 1st and 2nd grade class. We will be planning outfits and lunches and all that detail stuff this weekend and enjoying the last few days of summer.

In other non-school related happenings, not much happening, lol! I will be working, DG will be working on his masters classes and there will be lots of Olympics watching. Pretty vanilla.

Hope everyone has a beautiful weekend!

The MS150 is this weekend!

We are supposed to ride our bikes 75 miles out to Sandusky, spend the night, then 75 back on Sunday. But, we elected to do 25 extra on Saturday to make that one a century ride. Because... we are idiots. :rofl

So I'll probably be MIA since posting on the forums while riding my bike isn't ideal. ;)

we will be chilling as we have no car, well we do but its a bit tired lol,and can only do small journeys, will take Gabbi to the ball park again sunday as she loved it last time, saying that so did the boys other than that i will be spending my time reading and watching the olympics

DH will play with his band in another town but I won't go with him cause I don't have anyone to leave the boys with this weekend :( Both my parents and in laws are out of town too! So I'll probably take the boys to see a movie, there is finally a movie theater over here lol!! Then on Saturday my oldest has a birthday party to attend.

My hubby and I are idiots like that too!! :D

We just got back (Monday) from the Wish-A-Mile 300 for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan. Yep... 105 Miles on Friday (Traverse City to Big Rapids, Michigan), 115 miles on Saturday (Big Rapids to DeWitt, Michigan), and 90 miles on Sunday (DeWitt to Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan) - BEST RIDE EVER!! I have so many pictures to scrap.

Us - this weekend... more riding, for fun. We have a 30 miler planned for Saturday morning followed by a short ride in the afternoon after installation of a ghost bike (see ghostbike.org for more info). Sunday we're taking the kids to the city for the Sunday afternoon family friendly (paved) trail ride... about 12 miles total. We'll also be heading to the county fairgrounds at some point to cheer on our 4H dog club (our dogs cannot be shown this year).

Um... I don't think I want to post after Angie and Lynn. :giggle

I think we have a whole lot o' nothing on our agenda. DH's parents have been in and out of the hospital the past couple of months, so we are kind of in can't-do-anything mode in case they need us (even though we pay their adult family home $6000 a month to handle that kind of stuff).

DD has officially cleared out her apt and brought it all back to our house, so there will be some box dodging and lots of :laundry because she packed up dirty clothes with the clean. Soooo exciting. I'm hoping to get a few quiet minutes of scrapping when DH goes out into the yard and Kennedy follows.

I am planning on canning tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, and salsa. Yes I have tons of tomatoes to put up. I also have corn and beans so my weekend will be busy as long as the migraines stay away. I have hormonal migraines and this weekend is bad timing. Arrgghh! Hope you all have a good one. The heat wasn't too bad today. Kinda felt real nice.

We'll all chip in Laura. But I want to see a layout with her using it ; )

I'm driving with my best friend down to Miami to see her cousin who is VERY ILL and under hospice care. I'll also be able to have dinner and spend a few hours with my college daughter. Hopefully, my son will not have one of those big party things you hear about on the news while I'm gone!

That's so awesome! My longest ride has been 62, so I hope I survive this. Lol
