TGIF! What's on for the weekend?

It's Friday!!! Yay!! What do you have planned for the weekend?


It's broiling hot here, so I know we'll be looking for some inside activities. I think maybe we'll finally catch Madagascar 3 at the theater. Tomorrow, I am getting my hair cut. :whoopdedoo I need to work on getting packed up for Yellowstone too as we're leaving in a week. Yikes. Church on Sunday. It looks like a quiet weekend here.

How about you?
 
Just errands and DD's horseback riding lesson. Hoping for a low key relaxed weekend!
 
DH's coming back tonight at 10pm so it'll be good to have him home. We have plans to go out for dinner tomorrow night to use up a coupon, and I will watch the soccer Euro 2012 final on Sunday afternoon rooting for my country. :) Other than that, pretty much the same as any weekend: I unfortunately need to work on an article, and I will make time to scrap/craft too. I signed up for a stamping class (online) that starts this Sunday, so I'm excited for that!

I think I am going to sneak out to a movie today by myself. :) We have just typical errands and homework stuff over the weekend. I'm changing the focus of my degree a bit, so I have some extra work to do. DH had his job extended by 60 days, so we're relieved about that and it should take some stress off of the weekend! :D Trying to do some blog prep and scrapping this weekend too!
 
I plan on staying up late this weekend, creating more tutorials! I'm having too much fun! :D (will purchase more coffee) ;)
 
I'm super excited because we're going for our first night away in our new campervan! Hoping the weather's reasonably kind to us, looks like it's going to be a bit windy but mostly sunny at least :)
 
Hmmm....good question! Today I am so excited I got done with work early, and now I am just trying to catch up on scrapping and forums. Went and signed the kids up for the 2nd round of swimming lessons this summer. Tonight will probably be mostly chillin around the house since its not exactly pool weather. We may head to the park for a bit. Tomorrow I'm hoping for a long day at the pool. :)
 
Farmer's Market tonight! We've never been to this one since it is a bit of a drive, but then we can walk down to the river & hang out for a bit before we need to head home.

Tomorrow DH is working. He hosts a Civil War History Day on the Courthouse lawn. I'm kinda bummed about it since this weekend our community celebrates the 4th . . . After 8 years, we still forget to consult each other before planning events on the weekends.

But he will be home in time to go to a graduation party for a dear friend's son & then dinner w/ friends. So it won't be all miserable w/o him.
 
We have a local community festival that has lots of free kid activities tomorrow, and then we are dropping the kids off at the inlaws and going out to dinner :)
 
Only real plans is for me to get healthy again, this bronchitis has been going on for over a month now and I'm so ready to be over it... Mark is hoping to get more cabinets in, he finished muddy the walls last night and will prime them tonight and hopefully hang the top cabinet up and seal off the vent and get the bottom cabinet in and finish up some electrical work so that we can tear down the wall on the 4th... We'll see how much gets done since his main goal is to take the kids so I can sleep and get healthy...
 
Wahoo! I'm so excited for today. I'm officially on Staycation!!! I even took the afternoon off to get this party started early. We were going to the beach this afternoon, but then we checked the radar and saw a huge storm rolling across the lake. So we went to see Madacasgar 3 in 3D instead. It was so fun in 3D. That was a first for me. :)

Tomorrow if Jimmy Buffett in Chicago, Sunday we're going to a baseball game, then nothing but sleeping in and beaching for the rest of the week. Woot!
 
Let's see. Theoretically, I'm taking my two kids and my daughter's boyfriend to Venice Beach. However, daughter won't go if he can't go, and today (when we were supposed to go!) he had to stay home and babysit his younger sisters. In the meantime, I'm trying to contact my mother about her idea to fly my daughter and her same-age-female cousin to her house for about a week later on in July. Sunday, no plans. I mostly just want to sleep. Been staying up too late, and some medicine I'm taking has really pumped up my REM dream state to the point it's getting distracting! I mean, c'mon, I'm having dreams I'm on the Biggest Loser!
 
I'm going to my first crop tomorrow at a LSS about 30 min from my house. Sort of nervous about it since I've never gone to one before. And I hate packing my stuff, so we'll see how that goes! Mainly going to meet some people and hopefully make some new friends.
