TGIF!!! What's on for the weekend?

Yay, it's Friday! What do you have planned this weekend?

My little Julia has had the stomach flu all week, but she is finally better today, so hopefully, we will be back to doing some fun summer stuff. I think I am going to take myself shopping too. Definitely needing a break! LOL We don't have anything big planned but I am hoping we can at least get back to normal.
 
championship baseball game saturday!! WEE. i can't believe we got into the final LOL. I'm glad julia is feeling better :]
 
Aww... I totally hear you on wanting to get back to normal... I need rest so I can finally nip this bronchitis!!! We've been running around so much this week and I just want to rest... but knowing Mark, he'll want to work on the kitchen and getting more cabinets in

Today is the last day of VBS, so we have the ceremony today

Saturday is date night, desperately need that!!

Sunday I sing in the morning and hope to just have a nice restful family day, just the five of us :)
 
I'm home alone until tomorrow night, dh went to Sao Paulo which is like 5 hours away from where I live! So I guess I will enjoy some scrap time this weekend hopefully! :D

Nothing much here. 4 kids going to their dads, so will be me, dh and the little guy for the next week or so. Should be interesting... he's used to having kids around to entertain him. LOL
 
THIS weekend? Let's see; my daughter is going to an overnight birthday party for a friend who is having her 16th birthday party. Yay! It means we get a little peace and quiet overnight. I adore my daughter but on my, she can be a drama queen like no one's business sometimes. On Sunday we're having an adult friend over. We're celebrating his birthday with him and having a grilling cook-out. And on Saturday, I have to run into the bank and deliver a mortgage payment before it's late.

Next weekend...oh boy, going to a cabin with 6 teenage girls and 6 teen boys with another adult (male) for Venture Crew. They're very well-behaved kids and into having fun, so... it still wasn't what I was planning on doing that weekend. They can't find any other mother or adult woman to go so the girls can go. At least it's in a cabin, and not parking a tent on a field of rocks like the *other* weekend I went with them a few weeks ago!
 
Not much here. Catching up on housework and scrapping, Bible study Saturday afternoon, church on Sunday, and lots of hanging out time in between. It's going to be megahot, so maybe sneaking a splashpad trip in early morning or right before sunset would be a good idea for DD.

Am debating on strapping her to the toilet with duct tape until she goes in it, too. :giggle
 
I think we're having a birthday party for my doggie nephew Rocky tomorrow! :) Yes, we are silly. But Rocky's had a tough week - he got bitten by another dog at the park and then broke out in a crazy, lumpy rash. So he deserves a party! We're having a bbq on Sunday for Father's Day at my brother's. And I hope to squeeze in some scrapping and Rock of Ages.
 
My son is at a 12 to 12 game thing today so I'm on my own tonight. Then he's off to his dad's tomorrow to go hiking in prep for a scout trip this summer. I'm having a birthday party/father's day on Sunday at my house for my dad and my best friend's husband (his birthday) so need to come up with a menu for that still.
 
Sounds like lots of fun things for this weekend!

DG is home and so we're soaking up lots of family time this weekend. I also hope to finish up a few crafty things I've been working on. Woot! Father's Day will be mellow and yummy. :beat
 
We also have our Little League championship game tomorrow! Unfortunately, one of my boys woke up with a low-grade fever and aches all over this morning. :cry Just praying he feels good enough to play tomorrow! He will be SO so so sad to not be able to play in the last game of the season!!

What else. Oh yeah! Father's Day! Ha. I haven't even thought about Father's day. Yikes.
 
Still haven't figured out what we're doing for Father's Day either...
but we are going to a gaming store tomorrow because it's free RPG day so I wouldn't be surprised if DH doesn't pick himself up a little father's day present while we're there. I'm seriously considering getting him a murse as well...he packs half the household with him when he leaves for work every morning. I think he travels with more stuff than I do.
 
My parents left this morning. This weekend will be spent recovering, cleaning and getting ready to get back to the work/daycare swing of things. Tomorrow I do have to work for a couple hours in the morning and go grocery shopping. And Sunday is whatever DH wants to do for Father's Day.
 
Kenzie has a bday party at a laser tag place tonight and a sleepover. Hubby wants to see the new Adam Sandler movie at some point. We are supposed to go to Fiesta Texas amusement park Sunday. Were invited to a BBQ Sunday but not going to go.
 
Tomorrow night is wine club night, yay! Other than that, I will have some crafty time (need major catching up on my PL!) and I will finish transferring all my stuff to the new desk. I brought some work home too so I have to find time for that as well.
