TGIF!!! What's on for the weekend?

Friday is finally here!! :cheer Yay!!
What do you have planned for the weekend?
 
My little one has been very sick this week. Today, the antibiotics finally seem to be kicking. I still don't think she'll be up for an outing though. I am going to get out of the house and do some shopping just for some time off from being the nurse. DH and I have a date night planned for Saturday. Hopefully, everyone will be well for church on Sunday, then I think I am going to sneak off to Archivers with my BF to work on my PL.

I'm soooo glad it's Friday! Not much planned for tonight, which is so nice. Saturday we are going skiing with the girls and our son has an indoor soccer game early evening. Then, maybe a game night with some family.
 
Work and more work, it looks like! :( DH is out of town until tomorrow night, so that will help me to get stuff done. I also need to squeeze in some time to finish last week's PL spread. Here's to hoping I can finish up my presentation for next week today and that my boss doesn't make me do too many changes!

Tonight we have a birthday party for my friend and will be a restaurant:happydance
Tomorrow I have a photo session in the morning and then will rest with my family :) We will watch movies and laziness :))))

I'm hoping that my grandma will *finally* buy a car today and then DH and I will pick it up and drive it to her house (she's afraid to drive a different car until she practices around her house... which is another reason I'm not sure she should be driving at her age). It has been a little over two weeks of insanity with her trying to figure out what she's going to do/buy.

DD and I are going to go to the gym today and then stop in at the community college so she can talk to an advisor. She's got more than enough credits for her AA, but she never officially got it because she transferred to a 4-year, but now she's having issues with finalizing the AA at the community college because of financial aid and the number of credits she has. It is a mess.

I have been procrastinating terribly on two papers I have to do for school. Deadline is the end of the month, so I need to find a couple of hours to devote to that. But all I really want to do is catch up on scrapping and the challenges here.
 
A busy weekend here for us! Would love some time to get caught up after not having internet at the house for 2 days but it looks like it'll be Sunday evening before that's going to happen.

Tonight, I'm hoping to get some laundry done! We. Need. Clean. Clothes.! LOL

My stepdaughter is driving in for the weekend but we probably won't see much of her until Saturday afternoon/evening. We've got a potluck dinner tomorrow night (she's coming along) and I've got a ton of cooking to do all day so that takes care of Saturday.

My son's kids are coming over Sunday afternoon and with 4 of them (ages 6, 5, 3, 1) there won't be much time to do anything as they are a rambunctious group. Hoping the weather is warm and we can all go outside and play and wear their little butts out! LOL

We have date night tonight and I work the rest of the weekend. So it will probably be mostly quiet for me. Except for the work part. ;). Have a great weekend everyone!
 
It's snowing here! We have the regular weekend of sports activities and birthday parties. I am getting a haircut, too. So in need of one!
 
I really need to c+p my weekend post since we always do the same thing! :giggle

DH has one more double shift tonight, and then he's back to normal next week. I need to go to the store to pick up a few things, but it is sooooooooo cold and windy outside that I'm putting it off for awhile. SS has another bball game tomorrow morning, and then we have Bible study tomorrow afternoon. Church, ILs, lunch on Sunday.

Our main focus right now is getting DH through the piles of paperwork to be promoted to FT at work. Most if it has to be done on site through their computer system, but we've been doing what we can and gathering info here at home. It will mean moving, but whether that is a smaller move (Chicago -- a couple hours from here & both of us have visited many times) or a bigger move (Greensboro, NC -- 10 hours away & which neither of us have visited or are famliar with at all) remains to be seen.
 
Ummm... let's see... baseball practice tonight, girl scout cookie delivering/baseball candy selling tomorrow, relaxing most of Sunday then dh has his first softball game of the season Sunday night.
 
hubby and i are having an overnight-er at a small quaint bed a breakfast downtown.
it's in celebration of valentines day and our anniversary.
i can't WAIT to get away.
it is much needed after the last couple of weeks.

I get to go and do income taxes on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Don't I sound excited? NOT!

But I have some new templates to play with tonight and tomorrow night for a little while, so that's good. Lacrosse game tonight, son at a cub scout to boy scout crossover tomorrow night but I get to stay home for that. Then Project Life on Sunday after taxes. Probably be one of those "no insert" weeks.
 
I'm not sure really. Might be too windy tomorrow for my long run (35mph winds) so not sure if that will happen. The 3 soccer games Saturday night are on, though. Sunday we are headed down to Columbus for a race.

Oh come on now Angie... you can run in a blizzard but not in 35mph winds? :giggle Girrrrl, don't know how you do it! What's your secret??
 
I have my {free} class at JoAnn's later this afternoon from 5-7 to learn more about my sewing machine I got back in December. I'm excited to learn a little bit more about sewing! Lately, all I have been using my sewing machine is for PL :giggle

Not much going on here this weekend, tonight we are gonna have a nice night out on our back deck, enjoying some steaks on the grill and some wine. Listen to some good tunes...
 
I'm hoping to design some journaling/filler cards for project life using some of the digi supplies I already have. I also want to practice using my new DSLR camera. DH works on the weekend so my real weekend when he is off takes place Monday and Tuesday.
