And boom - somehow it's April! Yay for the weekend!

I've been down with a bad case of Influenza so my weekend plans are rest, rest and more rest. Exciting, huh? :giggle So, let me live vicariously through you..what do you have planned for the weekend?

I'm heading to Arkansas for the weekend. The gaming group that I'm a part of is helping the local game store put on an auction so I'll be busy with that all day Saturday. Other than that I'll just hanging out with family.

ETA: I'm so glad you are feeling better Laura! And glad you're taking it easy this weekend!

Daniel has a play date this afternoon, and while he's playing, I get to hang out with my friend (his friend's mom).

Tonight is hanging with the family and scrapping . . . and the rest of the weekend looks like more of the same! I'm totally obsessed with scrapping right now. LOL

Oh! And I'm reading another Kate Morton book. After I read The Lake House for the TLP Book Club, I've been reading through her entire library of published novels. I'm currently reading The Distant Hours.

My mom is retiring today!! So the family is doing dinner tonight to celebrate. I will be spending the rest of the weekend finally finishing the basketball team book I have been working on the last couple weeks and hopefully working on some fun pages for myself. And Sunday my SIL is coming over and we're starting a scrapbook for my MIL's 70th birthday!! Really looking forward to that.

Everyone have a safe and happy weekend!! :)

hold onto your hats, people, cuz I've got the BEST WEEKEND PLANS EVER and nothing will beat this.
Are you ready? Sit down so you don't get a case of the vapors, cuz I'm gonna... renew our Costco membership! Hold your applause, and curb your jealousy.:thankyouOK, all joking aside, that is basically the highlight of my weekend. :) The kids always behave at Costco (oh gosh, have I ruined it just by admitting that?!), so I do enjoy our trips out there.

oh boy... Anne, that sounds intriguing! SHARE! @AnneofAlamo

Sarah... you just ruined it. Good Job. Haha... just kidding. There are usually enough samples or churros to bribe any child! :giggle Have fun! @Tree City

I'm going to relax and scrap tonight... grocery tomorrow... the boys are BACK on Saturday night, and I'm excited! I did miss them, but at the same time, I feel a little perplexed that I'm asking for craziness back. Oh, and soccer starts up again on Sunday!

Sara... you made me spit the coffee ROTFL that sounds like something we should say about our usual weekends (well me, Sarita actually had a life before the operation, but to be honest? the way things are with Isis threatening to bomb London, I am so grateful she is healing this slowly!!!
We usually are just watching videos or TV on catch up, Netflix & Channel 4 has some great free box sets....we are splashing a bit on food by delievry...so my life has been pretty boring lately
BUT....
having said that,
this week I have some plans to share with you!!!!!!
We are having friends over for lunch tomorrow!!!
Our friends Alex & Ashley and their baby daughter Ramona are coming to see us after years we haven't been together in the same place.... we talk a lot online and with her we got together in 2014 when our most favorite USA's writer came over to London and we met for coffee, but him & Ramona we haven't seen for almost 4 years!!!! I'm taking it easy and making food that doesn't take much preparation but I am so SO excited to see them and, you know, that means more photos for now & then pages!!!!

I will hopefully be buying a car this weekend. Yeah:huh?

So it might be some :hairpol but hopefully some :banana.
And I'm planning on a slow weekend other than that. Some TV Sat and Sun and some chilling and scrapping.

@lmccandless you poor thing! Although resting, alone, in a quiet room, does sound awfully nice. lol. We have soccer and church Saturday. And Sunday we're renting a U-Haul trailer and driving into ATL for a trip to IKEA! :) New couches, chair and a few other things I want. :) Looking forward to it!

LAURA!!!! I've been wondering how you were. So sorry you got influenza on top of everything else. Just makes me happy to see your smiling face back here.
Here for the weekend, big exciting plans as usual. Time to get serious about putting life in order. Today bills. Yuck. Tomorrow --- food planning and sorting clothes. Sunday -- we'll see. But I hope to start knitting a new shawl this weekend if I can ever decide which yarns.

I LOVE!!!! Costco. I should do a "love" page for it. Go around lunch and you can get free samples. Yum!

Tonight is Chicks Watching Flicks About Chicks (movie night with the girls from church). Tomorrow is a hike with a friend followed by birthday dinner for the 19 yr old son at Red Robin, yum!. Sunday - be lazy and scrap.

Next weekend I am going to a crop weekend in the mountains, so sometime soon I have to prepare for that by picking out the pictures for what I hope to get done. Can't wait!
