It's Friiiiiiday! :yesss
What do you have planned for the weekend?

It's a big weekend at my house. It's Homecoming weekend for my oldest. So, tonight we have the football game because her boyfriend is on the team. Tomorrow is the dance, so it will be a day of primping and beautifying...and then a chance to be a Mamarazzi. Hehehe. My parents are also coming to visit for the weekend. They haven't been here in a long while due to my Dad's health issues this year. I am sooooo thankful he is well enough to travel now. Looking forward to a fun and family-filled few days.

So glad your Dad is better and able to visit you!!

My DH is out of town til Tuesday - so just me and the girls. We are going to build a tent and watch movies tonight. Then Saturday I think we are going apple picking - which I am really sad to do without Daddy with us, but it's our only completely free Saturday for a while so gotta take advantage of it!

sounds like a fun and busy weekend! Great news on your dad, sure it will be extra special.

it's fall so it will be the arena Saturday and Sunday but Saturday will just be drop off as it's a tryout (feel like we have been in tryouts forever!), Sunday is exhibition game.

I plan on doing some batch cooking/baking and of course laundry. However the cooking/baking depends on my mood at the moment, lol.

Tonight is a football practice walk-through and tomorrow is game day. It is so fun watching these little guys play football. There are a couple kids that probably weigh less than 50 pounds!

Tonight is also the very first Grade 4/5/6 Fun Night - it's the first time the Grade 4s have been invited so my little guy is so excited. They are having colour wars - I am assuming food colouring in water guns, so they recommended wearing white T-shirts and clothes that can get wrecked.

Then Sunday is a family dinner at my parents'. Plus a basketball practice for my older boy in the evening.

Hope you all have a great weekend! I'm going to a crop tomorrow and I can't wait! I just can't wait to get through work today! :)

It's another crazy weekend for my family!

Tonight - XC practice. Talk-Like-A-Pirate Party at the Eagles Club. Pick oldest up from train station. maybe pizza and movies with the kids. One of my kids has been home sick from school yesterday and today, so no Talk Like A Pirate Party for me. Hubby will be going though.

Saturday - Breakfast and lunch here... then it gets nuts! XC meet in a town almost 2 hours away. Then Eagle Rider Appreciation Dinner/Party. The Lions Vs. The Packers - football - must watch. One of the wish kids we interviewed recently wished to coach The Packers. This isn't the game he will be doing that, but I must familiarize myself with The Packers so I can enhance this wish properly.

Sunday - Take oldest back to train station so he can go back to school. Church. Sunday School. Eagle Rider breakfast. Eagle Rider meeting... then the Riders are riding to Hell (Yes, it's a real town in Michigan) and back. We might follow in the van (motorcycle needs major repairs before it's road worthy) - just sounds like something fun to do.

Everyone's weekends sound like they are going to be so much fun!!

Tomorrow is the National 24-Hour Championship run right here in Cleveland (put on by my running club... USATF chooses a 24-hour race, and it's been ours the last few years pretty exciting). I'm not running, because I see no good reason to run for 24 straight hours, :giggle , but I will be up there for several hours volunteering. Handing out water, making ramen, etc.

Not much going on other than that.

A bicycle club near me does a 24-Hour bicycle challenge. I think running would be way harder. Doing the 24-Hour bicycle challenge is on my bucket list.

I have almost as much volunteering at events as I have participating in them! Have a great time!!

It'll be a quiet wkend for me as I'm recovering from a sinus infection and whooping cough. I've been napping throughout the last couple of days and am starting to feel better. Codeine gives me weird dreams but I sure sleep more :) I hope to laze around and scrap a bit and watch the PVR.

YAY for your dad feeling better!!!!

I was suppose to get together with some moms tonight but I think I am going to stay home and scrap. SHOCK, I know!

Tomorrow we have two soccer games and a baseball game.

Sunday....no plans thank goodness!

soccer, soccer, and then more soccer. 3 games all overlapping and in different places (one in a town 30 min away) so juggling act. then a lot of yard work and fall purging of accumulated stuff. fun times. ;)

Awesome news Laura re your Dad and so glad to hear he is better and can travel YAY!!!

I am getting together for dinner tomorrow night with my dear friend and her hubby... our husbands are meeting for the first time (we have been friends first through work when we worked together from 14 years ago, and she was the one along with my hubby who made me go get my mole checked 9 years ago that saved my life as it was melanoma) anyway, we (Pat & I) are going to Harry Potter World/Universal Orlando 3 weeks from today for a girls long weekend, so we thought getting together with the boys would be fun and pre planning for our trip!!

Sounds like you have a fabulous weekend planned Laura! Have fun being the mammarazzi!

My eldest DD headed off to Japan this morning for a 16 day holiday with her school. There are 21 of them plus teachers going and I have told her I have to live vicariously through her exciting travels and to take lots of photos for me to scrap!

The rest of the weekend will be spent missing her and recovering from the very early morning start to get her to the airport in time haha!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend :giggle !!
