It's Friday. Woohoo! What do you have planned for the weekend?

It's my youngest daughter's birthday, so we're in celebration mode this weekend. We're waiting until school is back in session for her friend party, so we let her set the agenda for her birthday weekend. So far, it looks like a trip to American Girl, sushi (her fav) and....a hot air balloon ride. (Eep. I'm not even a fan of airplanes, so I am not sure how that is going to go for me.) Assuming I survive the ride, it should be a very fun weekend.

I hope everyone has a good one! :)

Wow that's quite a birthday. Hot air balloon rides are wonderful and VERY different from a plane (I, too, hate planes). Hot air balloon rides are very peaceful.

DH and I are celebrating our (8th) anniversary this weekend. He booked us a dinner and hotel package at the nicest place in town, complete with honeymoon suite, champagne etc. Excited but never been away from my little man before!

Sounds fun Laura! I've always wanted to go up in a hot air balloon - that will make for some amazing photos too! :) We've got birthday plans this weekend too, my little girl will be three tomorrow! I was like, she's three, she'll be excited if I make cupcakes and decorate with balloons... but DH says nope, we're having a party! He rented a big bounce house/slide, invited lots of neighborhood friends, and is ordering pizza. She's been asking for a "dolly house" for ages so I found one in the local classifieds and I've been sprucing it up and adding furniture the past couple of weeks. I can't wait to give it to her!

Happy anniversary Ama! That sounds amazing, hope you have a lovely weekend away!

Laura & Lynette - birthday plans sound like fun!

Ama - happy anniversary! Enjoy the time with your hubs!

I'm shooting a wedding tomorrow and am so thankful there will be clear skies ahead. It's an outdoor park wedding. Tonight I'm culling images from 2 weddings last wkend. Whew....after this wkend I'm glad to get a breather for a bit. Then I can start scrapping like crazy to really enjoy my polly month. I've been getting in a few pages here and there but once these weddings are out of the way I'll have to cull and edit but that won't be so hectic and I can devote my time to my digi obsession.

oooh sounds like fun plans all around

Today I'm getting my hair cut...it's been close to forever so it's a little exciting..lol.

Then Sunday we're heading to St. Louis to go do a little shopping and I'm going to get to meet up with a friend that I haven't seen in about 16! years. I'm really excited, we've kept in touch over the phone and chatting over the years though. I think it's going to be a blast.

Then we're heading to the IL state fair. DD is going to get to see a few of her friends from her homeschool/4H group from Chicago. We haven't been to a fair since DD was really little so I'm super excited to be going.

My new work schedule is S - Th, so Miss Monkey and I slept in today, then hit the grocery store, had lunch, did some chores, and read some books. She is napping, and then we'll do our usual Friday night pizza + movie (a rewatch of 'Toy Story 3' this evening).

Our library is celebrating Clifford's 50th birthday tomorrow morning (although my research online says that he turned 50 last year?! -- LOL!), so we'll do that before either going to the splashpad or the park in the afternoon. Church is Sunday, and I'm hoping that I can talk DH into taking her and my stepson to the outdoor pool at the Y in the afternoon so I can deep clean and organize her bedroom. We've finally gotten her set up in a twin bed, so I need to weed through some of the bigger items in the room to see what needs to go and what can stay. There's just way too much furniture in there ATM.

I'll work late Saturday night/early Sunday morning as well as scrap some. I just bingewatched 'The Mindy Project,' so I'll need to find another show (with more seasons!) to watch this weekend.

I'm taking my almost 5 year old to see Planes this evening and then the rest of the weekend is wide-open.... just like I like it. ;)

This thread always depresses me, everyone has a more exciting life than me. :giggle

Nothing doing here. :)

Yeah right. Except running 15 miles and then painting three rooms in your house. Am i right? You are always doing something awesome!

Lots of fun stuff going on in here. We are boring this weekend... just some house/yard maintenance and back to school shopping.

sounds fun...I am dropping off Peanut (our little long haired dotsie to get snip snipped tomorrow) and then we are headed to the local County Fair to hang for the day :) super excited!

Well I AM running 15 miles (hopefully), but I'm not sure I'd call that fun.

This is the first weekend since school started so we're all pretty tired after getting back on schedule. There's a back-to-school kids event at church today and then church tomorrow morning, but other than that, we're taking it easy. Fall baseball starts up for both kids soon so I want to enjoy the easy weekends while we have them.

My husband is off after working last weekend and very long days in between. So we are enjoying time together. The boys have been begging us to go miniature golfing so we will prob do that, I plan on a pedicure for myself (yay for a little alone time!), and we may party it up for real with a family game of Monopoly since that is their new favorite! Tomorrow is church and maybe one of the above mentioned activities.

Last night I went over to a friend house for a glass of wine and some girl time. Today we woke up and went to the cheap theater and saw Turbo as a family. That was fun. Then we came home and I had a lovely nap. Now my hubby left for golfing, so I think I'll be doing a little scrapping! Yay! Tomorrow is church and then bible study in the evening.
