Woohoo!! Friday! What do you have planned for the weekend?

Tonight is going to be a fire and move night at my house. We all need a low-key evening on the couch. Ahhh.

Tomorrow, I am going to a huge antiques and flea market with some of my girlfriends. It is a fantastic place, but we have to get up at the crack of dawn. Boo. Hopefully, all the bargains will make it worthwhile. Saturday night will probably be sushi with the family before we host a gaggle of teenagers for a movie night of their own.

We have church on Sunday. Then, we're having some neighbors over for one of DH's famous smoked briskets. Mmm.

Yay for the weekend! I hope everyone's is great!!

Uhm...well it's my birthday tomorrow and I wasn't allowed to plan anything.....eep!

Happy Birthday, Mirjam!

It's homecoming for our school district. Still debating if we'll attend the parade and football game tonight or just skip it all and stay warm and toasty at home and watch Netflix. Chili for dinner tonight.

This is the first Saturday in several weeks that our son does not have a cross country meet, so I think we're going to take advantage and do some catching up on yard work and prepping for the coming winter. (that sounded so Little House on Prairie) Definitely must watch the Tigers in the first playoff game.

Sunday - Church. Nap. Maybe watch some football.

Now that I've typed it all, it sounds too busy. *sigh*

Happy Birthday Mirjam!

That sounds like a fabulous weekend Laura!!! I didn't know Kevin made brisket...I bet that's delicious (I tried once and dried it out sooo bad)

I'm not overly looking forward to this weekend, I'm just going to try and occupy myself enough to try to not think about what's going on (hope it works) I think we are going to take the littles to Carter Mountain to pick some apples on Sunday. Charlottesville can put anyone in a good mood :) Tonight it pizza and a movie and I think I may go fall clothes shopping on Saturday. That's about it over here!

Happy Birthday Mirjam!
Horseback riding and scouts on Sunday for DD...and DH wants to go look at archery stuffs, DD got to shoot at camp a couple of weeks ago and had a blast, so they're interested in adding archery to her list of outside activities....maybe this will be the activity DH can spearhead and I can stay home.

happy birthday Mirjam!

Tonight is just slow and relaxing evening. I've struggled with strep throat this week and yesterday I got a full blown migraine which set me back. But I'm on antibiotics now and feeling better. So this weekend is really low key. We are going to a local childrens concert tomorrow though, but that's all we have planned so far.

Happy Birthday Mirjam!

Sounds like a good weekend for most everyone! Hope those who are feeling under the weather are on the mends soon! And that everyone gets to enjoy some relaxing time!

It's family time for us as well. Will be organizing the craft room and writing a bit as well. Sunday is church and football. Lots of the regular, vanilla happenings. :)

Laura, are you going to bring your "scrap wagon" to the antique market so you can haul stuff home? :giggle

Happy birthday Mirjam!

It has FINALLY cooled down here in San Diego. Like on Monday it was still 96 degrees! This weekend will be low 70's, which is awesome.
I'll be catching up on some DVR'ed TV episodes tonight. On Saturday we'll watch ESPN College Gameday, then go running at the coast. I need to do some house-cleaning. Then we go to our friends' house to watch the Buckeye vs Cornhusker football game together. I'm excited for Sunday because we go on a 2 hour walking photo-tour of downtown San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. We'll be going with these people: http://www.snapphototours.com/ It's going to be a lot of fun!

Happy Birthday, Mirjam!

The usual....2 soccer practices tonight from 5-7:15
Two soccer games tomorrow
Sunday Football

No other plans this weekend! YAY! We still haven't decided when we are going to the pumpkin patch. We probably won't go this Sunday since it's COLD here!! I am hoping we will have a warmer weekend soon!!

Craft Night tonight w/ the gals & middle & high school gals too. This will be the first time that I will have a laptop for craft night! So excited that I can scrap!!

Tomorrow if the weather is nice enough I need to finish staining & poly-ing Pinterest-inspired bookshelves. Otherwise, this cold snap has gotten me into a baking kind-of mood, so I may just spend lots of time making cookies, brownies & more!

Low key around here this weekend. [Thank goodness as the rest of the weekends this month are crazy-busy.]

Catching up on laundry, TV/movies on Netflix, scrapping (so many great pics to scrap, but no time recently to do them!), Bible study Saturday afternoon, church on Sunday.

tomorrow we have gymnastics and soccer. need to run a couple errands and also get laundry done.
i have a procedure on monday morning so i have to fast (clear liquids) and prep for that. not fun. that will start saturday night i guess.
sunday i'll just rest - i won't have much energy to do much of anything so that's the plan. maybe i'll be able to scrap to keep my mind off of food? i really would love to start the challenges.
then monday the kids are off, dh is home, and i have my procedure. not much else planned!

Flea market sounds like fun!!

I have to study for a midterm next week (yuck), but I also need to finish my 2013 calendar to take advantage of an offer that expires tomorrow... it's going to be a busy weekend! :)

Happy Birthday, Mirjam!

It's Thanksgiving this weekend in Canada.

My oldest son and dh are going to the CFL football game tonight and my son's ATOM team (8-10yr) is playing at half time. The boys are really excited!

Then football game tomorrow morning -- it's going to be cold - only -1C (yes, that's minus one) in the morning, so it is time to break out the winter jackets.

Church Saturday night. Then Sunday we're celebrating Thanksgiving at my sister's (pot luck - I'm bringing the perogies!) and Monday is a lazy day, but my son also have football practice at night.

BIG NEWS over here.

I'm finally going to go pick out my new fridge. :giggle

The whole kitchen remodel began because we need a new fridge and wanted a bigger one. So, months later, I'm finally going to go pick one out. And it hasn't even died yet.

LOL Angie! Hope you have fun! We did a "facelift" on our kitchen a few years ago and replaced everything but the fridge. It was the only appliance that hadn't died and wasn't impacted by the new counter tops. So it stayed. And it matches nothing. :p

Nothing at all on my official weekend calendar. :wooot DD has a major math project to finish, so there will be whipcracking there. We will probably do the Halloween decorating. I also have some cleaning to do, since we're having the house appraised on Monday for a refinance, and I'm assuming the appraiser will be tromping through the non-public (aka always-on-the-bottom-of-the-cleaning-list) parts of the house. :whistle

Other than that, I'm going to spend some time rolling around in the gloriousness of the gallery and hopefully do a bit of designing! :)

Happy Birthday Mirjam!

I finished my big PTO project this morning!!! :yahoo A big weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

We have three soccer and football games tomorrow. My hubby is running the Chicago Marathon on Sunday. And the kids are off of school on Monday and Tuesday so we will be planning some family fun. I am looking forward to getting sleep again and having some scrap time!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Good luck to him! Is he going to just run it easy since he already got his BQ, or is he going to try to improve his time even more?!
