Is it me or was this a loooong week?! Yay, Friday is finally here!
What do you have planned for the weekend?
 
Shhhh. Don't tell anyone. I haven't made any plans for the weekend. This never happens, so it's lovely to even think about. My oldest daughter is sick so I might not even be playing taxi/social secretary... hoping for some great R&R.
 
I'm so excited for this weekend! I'm heading down to Guelph (about 5 hours from here) for my Uncle's 50th birthday. But the best part is that I'm going with my mom, two aunts and my grandmother... SANS kids! We're making somewhat of a girls weekend out of it. It's going to be a blast. In Ontario, it's also family day so it's a long weekend and my work puts on a family day skate at one of the local arenas so we plan on taking the kids there.... AND if I'm really lucky I will come home to a newly painted bedroom! WOOHOO!

The hubs and I are going on a photography field trip with our photography club to an antique store!

Its a long weekend here (Family day on Monday) so we are probably going to take in some of the many activities around the city. Skating for sure. I am meeting a couple of moms for coffee today that I am looking forward to, hopefully they will be nice and we can form a new friendship (the last mom coffee I went on was icky, the moms talked about how often they spanked their kids with a weird sense of pride).
 
I won't even bother saying. :rofl

Although! Some things are different... only my 4 oldest are going to their grandparent's this weekend. So Saturday night, me and dh and our baby will go out for dinner just us 3. That'll be fun!
 
DD has a Birthay party tonight so DH and I are going to go out to dinner by ourselves for the first time in almost two years so that will be nice. DH and I both have hair appointments tomorrow morning and DD has her first horseback riding lesson on Sunday (she is so so so excited!). Other than that I hope to get a few layouts scrapped and I shall be stalking Amazon for page protectors.
 
It's a vacation weekend here. The kiddos are off today and Monday.

We are doing a weekend swim meet for my oldest, they are always so long and time consuming. And my youngest has a birthday party and a basketball game. DH and I have a date night on Saturday though! I am really looking forward to that.
 
Just the usual --- SS' bball game, Bible study, church, ILs.

What is Family Day? We don't have that here in the States.
 
The hubbs and I are headed out of town for the weekend, it's much needed since it was Valentines and his birthday this week and he was gone on business.
 
I start my first weekend of doing income taxes for tax season. This begins a "full time period" for me, work full time during the day, then work every weekend until tax day. Not so much fun, but I do make money doing it!
 
I am going to a crop tomorrow with some of my girlfriends and I can't wait! I am a little bummed though because our crop group is losing the space where we've been meeting up every month for the last few years. It's a nice big church hall with six-foot long tables for every scrapper and even lots of outlets for all of us digi girls! The organizer is working hard to find us a new home. Our crop tomorrow is going to be a pajama party - so at least I'll be nice and comfy as I scrap all day!
 
It has been a very long week and I'm glad the weekend is here. No big plans are made just yet but I have a very good friend that is singing with a band tomorrow night at the VFW so I'm hoping we can pop in there and enjoy the music. Other than that....maybe some grocery shopping and lounging around.

I need to scour my closet from something to wear to my dd honor society dinner on Sunday. I don't think I even own dress up cloths anymore, lol. I'm trying to do housework today so I don't have to tomorrow (but I keep stopping to scrap). Hope everyone has a terrific weekend!
 
My parents spontaneously decided to come for the weekend, so Mark took today off work and he and my dad are working on the second bathroom, not finishing it or anything like that but just making it functional by putting the toilet back in and fixing the sink... And putting in some cheap flooring lol... The drywall will still be torn up so we wouldn't be able to use the shower but at least I don't have to run up two flights of stairs to go potty anymore lol! We might go into the city to visit my brother and his family tomorrow if we have time... I'm hoping for a date night tonight or tomorrow night after the kids go to bed... And Sunday will be church then get ready for another week of homeschool

it's Carnaval here in Brazil, and you just can't imagine the party and the mess around here. till wednesday, no one works, everyone is traveling, there's samba everywhere, all that cliche about Brazil....
I don't like it at all, so, I'm planin staying at home...but Sunday is my birthday, so, I think I'll just go to a pub...
 
We have no real plans. But I am going to have to take my grandma car shopping again. We just picked her up and drove her to a dealer where they supposedly had a car for her, but she didn't get all of the details and it turns out they probably won't have it ready until Monday or Tuesday.

I have about six loads of laundry waiting in line, and I need to mop the floors, but I keep checking things out here and shopping for PL stuff on Amazon (thanks to whoever it was in the chat that mentioned BH stuff was in stock :p ). I also have a paper to write and some scrapping to get done for the challenges here so I can get a discount on my addiction. ;)

I'm jealous of Robin's crop. Wah.
 
Also in Italy it is carnival here, it does not appeal to me very but all are amused and they are masked
