Tell Me About Your Pets

You already know about my dog, Rae. :) We have a shepherd/hound mixx (aka mutt), DC, that we just adopted a little over a year ago. He adopted us not long after our dog (boxer/pitt/lab mix) passed away after 13 years. I've done a couple of layouts with him in them. He's a stinker... he thinks he's a lapdog, yet he's 85 lbs!

Oh man....I am loving this thread. The chat, the pages, all make me smile! I took a few shots of my golden girl today with my lensbaby so will be doing a page this week.

Lensbaby - nice! I would like one of those. We have two Boston Terriers - Lemon and Olive. Lemon is four years old, almost five, and she did not adjust well to the puppy, Olive, but she's coming around. Olive is a year, and she's a devil. Bostons should be between 15-22 lbs or so, some get really big, but it's rare to find one as small as Olive - she's only 12 lbs, but boy does she boss the older dog around. Right now, she's totally obsessed with playing ball. If you don't throw the ball, she tugs on your arm. If the ball goes under furniture, or the radiator, she cries until its retrieved - and this can go on for hours. Lemon doesn't like to play so much - she's a sweet girl. Anyway, we love them to death, and I do scrap about them fairly frequently.

Here they are -

It's been well over a eyar since we lost our pet cat wally, The kids (and Me as well!) are getting to the point where we would love another cat but we are still in a rental house - maybe when we move back home next month we will get another kistten (spring and kittens' go hand in hand!)

I did this LO on the day wally was put down.

Oh and Anne, I spent all of my childhood begging my dad for a goat (we were on a farm so it was fair enough I thought) but it never happened - would still love one though!

I just did a page about our Boykin Spaniel, Louie. We also have a cat and had a snake that finally died a couple of months ago.

OMG! I so luv this thread; Furball LOs make me happy too!

We have a lil' doggie named Missy Oooops, two cats (Peanut and Ace) and a bearded dragon(Jalisco). And they all get scrapped!

Here are a few of my furball scraps:

We have a four year old Jack Russell/Beagle mix named Charlie. Got her from a family that was having a hard time managing 2 dogs. She is perfect for our family - great with the girls, loves to play and snuggle.

Hey girls...loving this thread. Keep em coming. This is my happy thread...it just makes me smile!

I have one super special dog! His name is Auggie AKA August, Augustus, "big dog," "the hound." He'll be 7 in November. He thinks he is human & must sleep in my boys bed at all times. Not sure if I've scrapped him much on this site since I got back into scrapping, but you've motivated me. I downloaded Valeries doggy kit & will have to scrap soon.

Love my darling doggie Pippi. She is a rescue dog. She was starved, beaten and abandonded before we adopted her and gave her her forever home and she is all kinds of nuts (terrified of men, sticks, newspapers, loud noises, other dogs etc etc) but she is just so devoted to me I can ignore the crazy :D

Here is a page I did of her and her much loved Puppy toy :D

I'm on my iPad right now, but if you click on the gallery button, you'll see a bunch of dog layouts. We had a super sweet, gorgeous dog named Goldy who died two years ago. And almost two years to the day, Baxter the (poodle mix?) puppy came into our lives, and two weeks ago a mini-pinscher mix (now named Radar, after the MASH character) arrived. Radar doesn't get along well with Baxter, who is super playful, but they're both starting to get used to each other.

We have one 2 year old cat, Houdini, that lives with us. We got him as a kitten from a farm. He is so mellow, a big cuddle cat and is so patient with the boys. He is the best kitty cat!!

Daisy is 15 years old and she lives with my parent's now. She got really depressed when our oldest DS moved away to college (he moved in with my parents since it was close to the college) and started peeing on everything. She missed him so much and as soon as they were back together she calmed down. She is a b$tch...moody, hisses and not friendly with the boys. She has lived with my parents for 3 years.

We lost Duke two years ago. He was a 21 pound cat and was 12 years old...absolutely beautiful and so good with the boys. He got really sick and we had to say good-bye to him. The boys still ask about him almost every day.

Last night I spent an age reading every post in this forum! Our pets mean the world to us don't they? It's so interesting seeing what animals everyone has. I have a gorgeous, long haired, tabby cat called Tarzan and the absolute center of our world...Poppy, our amazing King charles cavalier spaniel. she is nearly 2 and has filled our lives with such love, laughter and happiness. sounds cheesy, but there it is!!! Anyway, of course I went and did a page of her lol x
