As a child, laying in front of the sliding glass door with the sun blazing thru it, was a favorite. Yesterday, I go to check on my son, he was playing legos after school. I open the door, and he is stretched out in the most glorious beam of sun. He had opened his curtains just enough to let sun hit him perfectly. I told him, how much I love sitting in the sun, especially in the winter. Give me a book and I am in heaven on earth!
What about you? Are you a sunspot lover?

I love a good sunspot, but have to watch out or I'll get sunburned! In the summer when I get cold with my hubby having the AC blasting, I go out on our front porch and sit on the steps and let the warmth of the sun warm me up. If the sun comes out in the winter, you can find me by our BIG front window soaking it up. Getting some sun in the winter is especially important to me. It helps ward off the winter blues and really cheers me up.

I love sunshine. I dozed off late yesterday afternoon in my big comfy chair while it was filled with sunshine.

Yes indeed and Jenn is spot on about the dogs! Ours chase it up the staircase as the afternoon progresses, lol!

In the "colder" winter days I do! Today would be a good day for a sunspot since my hands feel like ice!

In winter i will seek one out (back room with the blinds adjusted the right way, good place to curl up and read) but usually i kind of avoid them (i burn thinking about the sun - and i actually thought the 'sun spots' topic was gonna be skin cancer check/sunsafety talk cos i know some of you don't have a white Christmas)

I like to feel a bit of diffused sun/warmth but don't want to be right out in it. I like to sit out on the covered deck or porch. My dog does though :) Taz will lay on the back of the couch, panting, as the sun beats thru the window, or he will go outside on the part of the deck that isn't covered and will stretch out in a patch of sunshine.

I love them too and like Kayla I go to them to find warmth, however I sunburn in the shade and being the pasty white queen with melanoma issues I stay out of the sun. I find the sun spots for a quick sit and then have to go back in. I do love it though :)

Love this! I'm not sure I've ever sought out a sunspot, but my roommate in college was known to curl up on the floor and nap in the sunshine. We called her our pet cat. Lol!
