i hate sunblock. a lot.

but i got a nice reminder today that i'm a pastey person who needs to wear it. I'm burned from ce's baseball game today :[

i have really sensitive skin (eczema land!) am allergic to everything that goes on skin i swear :p lotions, smelly things, everything makes me itchy :p

so i need a non itchy making non slimey non gag making sunblock. I've tried the aveeno stuff before but meh.

So what do you use? Please.. i don't want to be a lobster all summer :giggle

My all time fave is one I've only been able to buy in Canada so I stock up every year when we go north. It's called Kin-e-sys. It sprays on and isn't oily and once it dries (less than a minute) you can't even tell you have it on. It blocks UVA and UVB and I've never ever gotten burned if I had it on. I wish I could buy it down here! I bought some Neutrogena high SPF that I'm going to try but it's pretty thick which I already hate ugh.

I'm allergic to all chemical sunscreens, can only wear the zinc oxide or titanium dioxide type sunscreen. I use Neutrogena Sensitive Skin with Pure Screen. It's 60 spf, has no chemicals. There is a white tube and a pink tube for children, both seem to work for me. And DON'T make me break out immediately in a red itchy rash (which is my favorite part).

Hmmm. I am curious, because I hate sunscreen too, but I always buy just whatever and deal with it. I'm not the best at putting it on myself though, mostly for the kiddos. I'm interested if there really is non-gross sunscreen.

Neutrogena Pure & Free is wonderful if you have sensitive skin.

according to my reliable sources, anything that's "naturally sourced" is superb for sensitive/allergy prone skin types.... aveeno, banana boat, neutrogena...

I have to be very vigilant about sunscreen due to vitiligo (blech), and I just tried Aveeno when we went to Utah last month. LOVED.IT. I will definitely be buying it in the future. Both face and body. What didn't you like about it?

my dermatologist recommends Neutrogena with helioplex and so that is what I use. They have a lot of different SPFs, and make some especially for face that are non-oily.

I have easily burnable skin, too. I found Neutrogena has a fabulous, nonoily sunscreen called UltraSheer dry-touch sunblock. A 3 oz squeeze bottle sells for about $9 at Target. Love, love LOVE the stuff. And the smell isn't overwhelming, either. It's sunblocky, but toned way down.

This! They also make a 100% as well, which works well! My mother has issues with alcohol based ones for her sensitive skin and Roseca and the Neutrogena Sensitive Skin is the only thing that doesn't bother her :)
