Hi everyone!
Come join me in the chat room for a fun Speed Scrap starting in a few minutes! The link to the chat room is at the top of the forum.
I'll be posting the Speed Scrap instructions here (one prompt every ten minutes until 11 PM EST) as well as in the chat room. After all the instructions are received, you will have one additional hour (until midnight EST) to complete your page and post it in the Speed Scrap gallery here. Please also link your page in this thread. We have an awesome $3 gift card from Sabrina for everyone who plays along!
Prompts:
1. Add one photo to your page and use one photo frame. Place your photo near the center of the page.
2. Use a neutral background paper. Add four other paper(s) and place them as a border on the top, bottom, left and right edges of your page.
3. Add some paint or mist to your page. If you want to have some fun with this step, I challenge you to mask out a shape in the paint/mist you are using. The mask is optional.
4. Add an arrow or several arrows to your page. If you use more than one, have them all pointing in the same direction. You can use an element, stamp, or draw your own arrow shape.
5. Use at least one colored alpha to add a title to your page. Also add some journaling, as much or as little as your want. Don't forget to include a date!
6. Add at least 3 other embellishments - buttons, flowers, etc. *You can add more than 3 but you need at least 3.
7. Rotate your entire canvas so your design is at an angle. *This is where your border papers come in handy. *Adjust them to cover the empty space created by the angle. *You may also enlarge the background paper and remove some or all of the border papers.
That is it! You now have until midnight ET/11PM CT to post your completed page in the Speed Scrap Gallery and in this thread. Thank you joining us tonight!
* Please remember that layouts must contain 75% TLP product (eligible product can be current or retired product from resident designers, or guest designer product that is currently in the TLP store.
