Summer already?

When we lived in Virginia, the kids didn't get out till towards the end of June, but that's because they went back after Labor Day. Here in Florida, my kids get out next Wednesday, but they go back August 11. I like this schedule much better!

Please send me Fall STAT haha! Mine aren't out until June 6. Almost there. I love having them home. I am not a summer person, I call it my hibernation season. It's so hot here.

We go until June 6th, we had 4 snow days that need to be recovered.


Oh and today we hit our first day over 90F, it was HORRIBLE!

June 6th here as well. It would have been the 10th due to weather days, but the district got the state to waive those.

I miss the elementary school days when things got easier at the end of the year. End of the term for middle school and high school just means a last extra major push as they cram stuff in. I think I am more ready for summer break than my kids are!

Every year the earlier finish of the US schools always freaks me out (and catches me unaware!) - we finish here on 22nd July so we still have half a term left!

My brothers have another week left. However, they have been done 'school' since Wednesday. All testing was done last week since grades were due by Tuesday I believe. Next week the go to an amusement park, have half days, yearbook signing days, and Monday off. It's slightly pathetic that they even have to attend
