I would write my status on the walls out in the world if it wasn't illegal! LOL, I am not a Facebooker, but I am a LIly Padder! lol I adore the status area. I love to pop fun things there, and I read them all! Comment on some, and smile so many times at others.
My favorite is one night, my hubby brought me doughnuts late. I put that in my status. Doughnuts. I got so many comments, made me giggle and oh so happy to share them with others.

yes, I saw the doughnuts post, and I LOVE being able to keep up AND have fun or being able to support others.... I love the interaction here and I feel bad when I can;t follow long threads...because so many here have so many interesting things posted and is amazing to get to know you.... I have not done anything on Facebook for a LONG time apart from posting my pages, commenting in others' and from time to time interact with my family..... don't get me wrong, I LOVE FB because it allows je to keep with all my family and friends that are so far, all over the world, but when I am feeling low..... is like looking at some people's amazing lives depresses me
I think here is more down to earth, the things we talk about and share, are things that ...not sure how to explain, but it seems to me a lot more honest than what I gt from some people (non scrappers, some ex scrappers and very very VERY few scrappers) in Facebook......

I should try to think one word updates, because the editor is always telling me I have like 100 extra characters LOL
I like to update my status here at TLP. And, as you know Cynthia, I also like to write on other people's walls. *giggle*
It can be tough to keep it short, though!
I like to read other people's statuses cuz it's a quick way to read about many people and see what's going on, both with scrapping stuff (like a reminder for a slow scrap and chat lol) and "real life" stuff.
Well, you know you are one of my loved people... I think I may have told this story 100 times, but I fell in love with your pages, your documenting and your art when we were at the Dares Team.... and I cemented that love when I saw what you created for the collab we made... so everything you post, I love reading as much as I love your pages!!!!!!
We will , one day, meet each other in person- I have to make a trip happen either way...it would be great iof I can get a visa, if not, I could do with a massive lottery win so I can organize a Lilypad event and ship you ALL to this side of the world for a 7 day cruise......!!!!!!! {we can dream, right? LOL)
I use them periodically. I thought it was a cool new feature after the site upgrade last December. I do try to remember to read a lot of them, too!
On facebook, it's very infrequent... just when my kids say something funny... actually I do update when something out of the norm happens, I guess. I have IFTTT to capture the statuses and store them in my Evernote so I know when I go back to do project life notes, I have it all in my Evernote. Lol
oh I love your updates Kristina!!!!!! I remember clearly when you first showed up here, not only your pages...but uyour personality that, of course, transpires in them...someone once described you to me as the "young, energetic" and is like this that I see you...no matter what is going on, you aklways tackle things full on and with passion and, at least to me, you bring happiness with your way

if you are anything like me: it took me ages to realize how to reply, my sight is poor , so, where the update is, under, in the right hand side, is something that looks like a few black dots, which is actually the word interact, or at least that is what comes up when you hover with the mouse.... you click on that, and it opens...so you can click like (the original poster, and you can like the replies too, and then there is also a comment button, which opens the box for you to type, is great...but 140 characters....for me, an achievement!!!!! LOL
Well, learned something new today....TY Cynthia! I usually open up TLP on the forum page so don't see that status update section. But....now I'm going to check it out.
