Star Wars Day | Pad Patter 5.4.23

How many Star Wars movies have you seen? I've seen Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of The Jedi

Do you celebrate Star Wars day? I told one person, "May the fourth be with you!" today.

When you think of Star Wars what do you think of? space, lasers, Yoda, the other main characters . . . I don't know, I rarely think of Star Wars. No one in my family is interested in it either. My husband was disappointed by the newer movies.

All of the movies and most of the off shoots. I know this will be unpopular, but I don't enjoy the Mandalorian, but have liked the others. The Mandalorian is so monotone and he's not a very good actor... it's irritating to me so I can't stand to watch it... :giggle

Not really, but we do joke around with each other with the star wars puns and movie quotes.

I agree about the Mandalorian. I wanted to like it since everyone was talking about it but, to me, it is somewhat repetitive and boring. And don’t get me started on the masks that make it impossible to lip read. Grrrrrr

Those jokes are so fun Heather! My daughter said their school lunch had fun Star Wars names today but I can't remember what they were lol

When you think of Star Wars what do you think of? I think of the battle scene in the first movie with the AT-AT Walkers (All Terrain Armored Transport). The animation was ground breaking/shaking at that time.

We had to use subtitles because of the masks.

I'm impressed you can name the movies; that's more than I can do! I just know 4, 5 and 6 are the old ones.
 
I am an original Star Wars fans. With the exception of the latest movie, I'm not a huge fan of those middle ones that were supposed to be before! But my friends own an ice cream shop and this is the sunday you could get in there today...So Cute!

I’m glad your son enjoys celebrating Star Wars day. My older sister made a Star Wars themed dinner for her family; it was very cute.

I'm pretty sure I've seen them all. I loved the original 3 movies as a kid, especially the ewocks! My hubby and oldest son really get into the Star Wars movies a lot, so often I'll watch the newer movies with them, but there have been so many now and they are all pre-quels and sequels and I just can't keep it all straight anymore. Lol. Now my hubby and I have been watching the Mandalorian show on Disney+ and I do like that.
