Hubby and I are going to a Halloween party tonight. It's been a while since we've been out and we definitely need a break from packing. This is what we're dressing up as:
I'm Medusa:
He is Robin Hood:
He wanted for me to dress up as Sexy Maid Marian... wasn't hapenning... lol! But I love my costume and so does he.
My mom helped me make a costume. She made a plaid skirt and a belt and I got a purple shirt, tights, a mask and wig to wear. I'm worried about this snow we're getting now. I hope my party's not canceled!
I'm going to be a librarian. I'm wearing a skirt that's part of a suit and a cardigan. I'm going to try to get my hair up into a bun and put some pens in it. And I'll wear some zebra print reading glasses with the frames popped out.
These costumes are great! My hubby and I both hate wearing costumes and it is our goal to get through the reast our lifes without ever actually having to wear one LOL. Somehow I don't think that is going to be the case now that we are moving to the states and our kids LOVE dressing up. I am loving the costumes I am seeing here though.
Angie, My 5 YO son has to dress up as a character from a book and he picked Waldo. I spent hours yesterday looking for a red and white striped shirt. I finally found one in the girls section, but the smallest they had was a 10/12. I'll have to do a little altering to get that to fit. I'll post a pictures when it's all put together.
Kaye, I went to a party as Jack Sparrow last night too! We were twinkies!
My hubby went as a bunch of grapes:
but the best was our friend who went as Dwight Schrute from the office. He's a total look alike, except he's mostly bald. He went to the trouble of getting fake hair and glued it to his head! It was hilarious! Especially when the hair kept falling off throughout the night!
Put together from things I had in my closet (my favorite cardigan!). The only thing I had to buy was the zebra print reading glasses (my husband popped out the lenses for me) and their string. I added some pens in my bun too. My friend's 4 year old daughter told me that I looked like an awesome teacher and some other people thought I was a secretary....so I was several things at once
I am going as a frazzled sick mommy...oh wait that's just me lol. But yea..not dressing up this year. However one of my friends from High School, her and her husband's costumes were genius!! He was the Mayhem insurance guy and she was Flo from Progressive insurance....so creative!
Here I am as Hit Girl with my friend MJ. We made her Price is Right costume about 20 minutes before the party after seeing it on Rachel Young's facebook. MJ insisted on that number. LOL!
