HOPEFULLY I'll make it. We get our internet turned on tomorrow sometime. We don't have AT&T here so we are getting cable internet which looks to be faster than what we are used to. Sooooo, let's hope that helps me "speed" scrap... ha ha haaaaa...

I might be a little tired this morning....
 
Oh, what a great incentive for me to finish some of the work I'm staring down. I'll try to be there!

Can someone explain how a speed scrap works? I'd kind of like to do one sometime, but I have trouble being speedy. :lol I'm a slooow scrapper.

Sure... these are the basic guidelines.
At the top of the hour, the host will post the first instruction in the chat room. Proceeding with 1 more step every ten minutes through the hour! At the top of the second hour, the host will post the final instruction (#7). The host will also re-cap all the instructions and requirements at the end of the hour. Participants will have 1 additional hour to complete and post their LOs. Participants may use a template if they wish. Each participant posting within the specified time will receive a PP.

You can expect instructions that guide you through your page, like a recipe. For example,
Add 3 photos
Use at least 2 patterned papers and 3 solids
make 3 clusters of elements
Add a bit of paint or a scatter
Use 3 different alphas for your title
Add at least 2 sentences of journaling
etc.

Thanks Karen! How often do you do speed scraps? I'm not sure I can make it tonight, but I really would like to try one sometime soon.
 
Usually twice a month. We also do a couple other chats that are just chatting and no scrapping too. :) Watch the forum for announcements. :)
