Hey hey! Getting ready to head to the chatroom for a speed scrap! C'mon in and join us! I'll post all the steps here too as I hand them out if you just want to play along. Simply create a layout with my steps and post it to the gallery and here by 11:00 pm ET and you'll get a super fun prize!
STEP 1 – Start with a subtle patterned paper for a background and then put a thick strip of paper somewhere across your page… either horizontal or vertical at about the 1/3 spot of the page.
STEP 2 – On top of the paper strip add at least one square/rectangle of paper and then place at least one photo on top of that.
STEP 3 – Tuck a journaling card or paper strip under your photo and add some journaling on that. Don’t forget a date!
STEP 4 – Add some paint or brushwork on the background and below all the other paper strips.
STEP 5 – Tuck one string or ribbon between some of the paper layers and add at least one button.
STEP 6 – Draw attention to one spot on your photo with an arrow or something that “points”.
STEP 7 – For the title, mix at least one alpha and one font OR use at least two different alphas. You may add as many other elements as you’d like to complete your layout.
ETA: Here's the layout I used to make the steps:
