for anyone not able to get in the chat - or if you just want to reference the speed scrap instructions ... here you go :)

i'll update as the hour progresses :)

- i'll post instructions every 10 minutes ... both here in the chat and also in a thread in the forums in case you miss something or join late :)
- you should really try to follow the instructions exactly if you can ...
- i know this is difficult - LOL - so you are allowed two 'cheats' so that your page is still "you" :)

1. 9:00 you will be using one picture on this page - but you can repeat it for a total of three pics, max. so - go ahead and get your pic ready and place on the page :)

2. 9:10 select two background papers - one solid and one print - make one smaller than the other and layer it on top of the first.

3. 9:20 select three accent papers - and use on the page in strips, squares, circles, etc. you may use each paper more than once.
 
4. 9:30 select 6 different elements (must be as follows: 1) ribbon or string; 2) buttons or brad; 3) flower or circle or star; the three remaining items are free choice - you may use ribbons, buttons, etc - or something new like journal mats, stitching, date elements, etc) and use on the page. you may repeat the same element if you want more than 6 items on the page :)

6. 9:50 add a stitched or doodled border and a title

aaaaaaand .... you're done :)

eh my cheat was i used extra ellies lol but i used strawbeerries as an ellie just differnt ones LOL i had fun anyway
 
Your layouts are all so amazing girls!! This was my first speed scrap...I had loads of fun! Thanks everyone and thanks Dana for hosting it! Fun chatting with everyone too!

The buttons might look like lots of different ones, but it's actually one element with the string!;)
 
OMGosh Claire. I was stressing big time. I had to just not look at the chat room! I loved being given the instructions though...it helped me not to go so far off track and trying to use every element in the kit! lol

You need to join us next time! So fun!
 
hahahaha!! I just realised I called my page 'chat'!! must have had that word on the brain! lol

Claire it was heaps of fun! Even if you don't get a page done, the chat was fun!

I know!! I can't believe I missed it. I checked in at 9:00 our time which is 10:00 Easter and it was already too late. Next time!
