hi there! here are the speed scrap instructions for the 12/10 speed scrap - beginning at 9 PM EST :)

i'll post instructions in the chat room and also here once we get started :)

1) Select two pictures and crop them into square shapes. Place them towards the middle of the page.

2) Use a solid background paper, with some patterned and/or solid papers layered on top in strips (any width). The strips should go from the top to the bottom of the page.

3) Add some stitching, ribbons and trim (any combination of those three things) to your page.

4) Add some elements to the page. Try to have some repeating and flowing down the page from top to bottom, as well as some just randomly placed as you like.

5) Add a title to the page, but have it rotated 90 degrees (in either direction) and placed tot he right or left side of your page.

6) Add some journaling, a date and tweak your page to your liking. Then save and post in the gallery and in this thread! :)

You all have one more hour (until 11 PM EST) to complete your page and post here :) I will send out a participate prize to everyone who makes the deadline - probably within the next day or two :) thanks SO MUCH for playing along!

Hmm, you know I thought I was following the steps a lot more closer than it looks like now compared to the others, lol

Phew! Everything decided to freeze up at the last minute and I didn't know if I would make it in time!

I love everyone's pages!!! I'm so mad at myself for missing the chat :( but yesterday I was feeling so miserable because of the really warm weather here in Brazil. All I wanted was to stay in bed without moving!
 
So I think it's pretty funny to see how some of us interpreted Dana's "paper strips as moving down the page" as vertical and some went horizontal! I love it! :)
 
I hate to seem greedy!!! I enjoyed the speed scrap loads! But was there a designer/sponsor for this speed scrap (I'm all for using coupons! <3)
 
There definitely is a prize for finishing a speed scrap. I believe I remember Dana saying in the chat that she was just waiting to get the code. She'll PM them to you as soon as she gets 'em! :) Maybe check you PM inbox just in case you missed it there. :)
 
yes girls! i'm still waiting for the code to get to you all! i'll send out a PM to the powers that be - maybe i've been forgotten in the holiday shuffle :)
