Speed Scrap 4/6/19

Hello! I'll be posting my steps for today's speed scrap here!

Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.

Step 1 – Start with a neutral background and add (1) photo nearly in the middle. It can be rotated slightly, but SHOULD break the rules of thirds and be centered vertically and horizontally.

Step 2 – Add 2 pieces of paper, roughly the same size and shape as your photo. One should overlap slightly on top of the photo and one should be tucked slightly behind the photo. Most of the two pieces of paper should show. The “stack” of paper, photo, paper can be arranged vertically or horizontally across the page.

Step 3 – Add a title on top of one of the pieces of paper and add some journaling on the other piece of paper.

Step 4 – Tuck a date tab under your photo and add a date.

Step 5 – Add (3) distinct groups of elements (or 3 single elements) to create a visual triangle around your photo. Not all elements must touch the photo. You may add any extra elements that you want.

Step 6 – Add at least one paint splatter and one doodle or stamp under the photo and paper stack.


You have until today at noon EDT to complete your page and get it posted in the Speed Scrap gallery and in this thread. Good luck!

@Karen sorry I missed the chat and didn't have time to complete a page. I love yours and all of the pages I've seen so far. I tried to enter the chatroom but was having wifi issues and by the time I got that straightened out, I only had 30 minutes.

I totally missed the chat since I was off doing Girl Scout stuff, but the layouts are amazing! I will have to play along even though the deadline is pass.

Since I am late, I broke a few rules. No title - I am not a fan. No paint - I used sequins instead for a "clean" look. Loved the layout ideas and may use it again really soon. Thanks!
