What did everyone think??

I feel as confused as I always am, lol!! BUT..I feel like I have the beginnings of answers to things and I'm so so excited for this season.

Did you love it? Are you feeling frustrated?

agreed. i watched it before my boyfriend, he came home and asked how it was... i was like well its lost! it was nice to see boone and charlie again. swoon.

So, if I understand right, it seems like they are now living in some sort of alternate reality? They stopped the plane from crashing, but now b/c they stopped the plane from crashing, other stuff is going to happen b/c they changed history?????

Okay, and Maggie (isn't that Boone's sister's name?)....she wasn't on the plane...is that because she died on the island?

and when Juliette died...oh, my heart....so sad!!! I loved the sweet relationship between her and Sawyer...I am still hoping that in some weird Lost reality that she isn't really dead. lol
 
Oh my total weirdness! It seems as if by setting off that bomb, they split themselves into 2! I loved it but yes, still totally confused!
 
it seems like the plane scenes are after they fix whatever they are going to try to fix all season. does that make sense? almost combo primere and finale all wrapped into one so we can see what happens to everyone off the island. Boone's sister's name is shannon, and boone died on the island too and also charlie, so why would he be there but not her? hmmm.. maybe she couldn't come back for a guest appearance (same reason walt can't come back, he is to old now!) i loved everyones conversations with each other though. priceless.

ok, back to scrapping.
 
that's right, it was shannon, I think her name IRL is Maggie Grace.

true, didn't think about the fact that boone and charlie also died, but didn't desmond see both boone and charlie after they were dead? oy, I am so confused! lol
 
Ok, so I've geeked on this more than I should probably admit...but the producers have apparently stated that the "new" Oceanic 815 timeline isn't an alternate reality, nor is what is happening on the island. They don't want the term alternate reality to be used per se because they don't want to give the impression that one is real and the other isn't. They said they are delving into the consequences of trying to change the past and that both timelines are real. Who knows how they will reconcile the two, but it's almost like seeing what happened if the detonation worked and if it didn't, at the same time. Clear as mud, right?

So my question is, is Jacob now inhabiting Sayid? Or is that just Sayid himself come back to life?
 
was crushed to see juliet die AGAIN! i think i had just gotten over it and boomshakalacka dead! gahhhh...

and i'm soo putting my money that jacob is possessing sayid.

omg, I didn't even think of that about Sayid being possessed by Jacob!! Good call. I loved every minute of it. I didn't really expect them all to still be on the island like that. I think the non-alternate reality thing can't be what really happens - because look at who is on that plane. Boone but no Shannon, DESMOND, where were Ana Lucia & Eco and all the tail-enders? It doesn't make sense. Not that Lost ever makes sense. HAHA
 
OMG. I watched the first season and couldn't keep up but this all sounds utterly ridiculous!! Sorry...but as outsider who hasn't seen it you gotta admit that's a weird storyline! lol
 
oh oh oh! and who was a little freaked out that the black smoke came back? ME! but now it makes more sense of who/what it is.
 
I was completely freaked about the black smoke and I was kind of sad, b/c that was this really weird element to the story (of course, lots of it is weird, but you know...), but it does make lots more sense now since we know who it is...how freaky was it when "Locke" came back and said "I'm sorry you had to see me like that."

I hadn't even thought about Jacob possessing Sayid....

I am so excited about this season!!! I also just found this site that looks like it links a lot of the stories and articles about Lost that I may have to be checking out...you know, in all my spare time! LOL

I was actually not surprised about smoky being possessed Locke. LOL. I even told DH that before it happened. So if that "guy" can manifest himself as smoky, I wonder what Jacob manifests himself as? They seem to be equals - just opposites. kwim?
 
I just bought all the seasons but the last on DVD ( i know im behind in the times but i bought a 60 inch TV and treated myself to a DVD colelction LOL) so reading this im well lost LOL!!!! Okay so is it worth even watching the DVD's or should I return them and get something else?

Oh I never saw ANY Lost episode yet LOL
 
omgosh! It was awesome wasn't it?! I totally cried at seeing charlie again. *sigh* I just adore him. Next to Sawyer's hotness, Charlie is and always will be my favorite.

The writers also said that the little things like Shannon not being on the plane and Hurley saying he was the luckiest guy in the world are things that we need to notice cause it's all important. Oh and Desmond being on the plane...something different. :) I can't wait for next week now!!
 
Okay LOL!!! Maybe thats why cause i have never seen any episodes of Lost but everyone I know LOVES the show
