I have never ever crocheted before. When we were at Sam's I saw this.

Is this something I am going to be able to do? Or am I just being ridiculous.

It looks like it's single crochet, which is pretty easy. The hardest part, I think, will be reading the directions.

Crocheting is relatively simple. The biggest hurdle will be becoming comfortable with holding the hook. There are multiple ways to do it and you'll need to figure out which suits you best.

Check out YouTube videos for tutorials for how-to's. You'll be fine!

They would be fiddly for a complete beginner, but still achievable. If you want to make them, then get the kit, but also get some more yarn and do some beginner crochet tutorials from u-tube. You will need to be confident with the hook, increasing and decreasing the number of stitches on a row etc before starting that project. Also find a tutorial on "magic circle" stitch as that is the starting stitch for mini crochet dolls. A good project to do before starting your doll, would be a crochet ball.

They are SO cute! If you wanted to make them, I would NOT start with this as a first project. Make a scarf or a pot holder at least first. That'll help you get used to how to do it first, then maybe just into this project. OR, buy it and bribe someone you know that already knows how to crochet to make them for you. :giggle

I know a couple crochet bloggers that have excellent videos on YouTube for how to do the stitches, if you're interested.

So cute! My daughter has one of these that was Star Wars. I think she may have started...but that's as far as she got! I hope you are able to finish (and scrap) them!
