STORIES OF TODAY, BY RACHEL
It's Build Your Own Collection time at the The Lilypad !! (+ iNSD weekend!!)
This month I’ve created something lighter and fresher that’s really about making space to document what’s happening in your life.
There’s plenty of opportunity to lean into a cleaner, more editorial style, but I’ve kept enough texture and playfulness in there to satisfy that mixed media twist, too.
I was craving breathing room and open space in my non design world too and we stepped into our local country park and had some fun outdoorsy times. It was refreshing to pair my photos with Stories of Today.
We sat next to the boats afterwards and had ice cream (which I dripped all over my trousers, I didn't scrap that photo but maybe I should

Lately I've been scanning old photos and came across this one where my Aunty, Nanny and I were meeting my new Sister
Theresa was inspired by my little design shift this month, and the lighter and fresher feel of this months kit inspired her to create about a story of her new mantel design, she too has been enjoying and curating a carefully edited space, keeping focus on just a few things and resisting the urge to overfill an area. Perfect.
Her page is also hybrid in design
There have been so many genuine and authentic stories of everyday life documented with Stories of Today that there are too many to share here.
