a week or so someone sent me a private message but i dont know where it is or how to find it again. thanks for any steps to where to find it

It should be still in your messages and you can see them by clicking on the little envelope icon beside your profile picture and name (on the right hand side of the top bar).

I think you also need to click on Show all, in the lower part of the pop down window.
