So what's everyone doing tonight?

My teens are having a game night with friends over and hubby is out of town, so I'll probably be laying low and spend the evening in my room with movies, snacks and maybe scrapping (or shopping, hehe.)

How are you ringing in the new year? :)
 
We are playing games (DH, two boys and I). We started with Angry Birds card game and then Monopoly... we're taking a break right now thankfully. I really don't love Monopoly, but all the boys do, so I'm going with the flow. :)
 
Well, we ring in the new year at 9 pm at my house. :lol ((thank God for little kids)) We've been using this time to get the kids' rooms switched around. Bella's going into the blue room with Ryan, and Zach's going into Bella's old room. We've decided not to worry about where Mason is going for now since more than likely he'll actually sleep nights in our room until August or September anyway - so we're just going to set the pack-n-play up in there for naps.

And yes... that is seriously all we're doing tonight. :lol
 
We aren't doing much. The kiddos are taking a verrrry long bubble bath right now, after which I hope they will be very tired. We will put them to bed soon and then watch a movie or two before midnight. Exciting, I know. :)
 
We were supposed to have two couples over and their kids for game night, but I came down with a cold and one of my boys has the runs. So, we're staying home and just hanging out as a family. The boys were really disappointed when they heard we were cancelling the 'party'; so hubby is off to get a treat for our family party. :)
 
I'm working - I volunteered to be here. Overtime!!!! But it's sooooo boring. At least I have my new Nook here with me. If I get home anytime soon, I might have a little Gossip Girl marathon.

Just came back from a lovely party with our wine tasting club - it was a great night! Now DH and I are headed to play videogames to wait till midnight and ring in the new year! :)
 
We are driving 7 hours home after a quick trip to Georgia...I am really hoping we can make it home before midnight....
 
It seems strange to be at home. The last two years, I was en route to England, for school, on New Year's Eve. This year, we aren't doing much at all. We had our traditional NYE dinner of homemade fettucine alfredo, and I'm getting ready to take a nice shower. DH is watching true crime shows, and I'm trying to figure out if I can sneak in any scrap time. I know he'll fall asleep pretty soon, but I may just snuggle under my electric blanket with my kindle for a bit.

Ah, the excitement of it all. :p
 
I spent the evening scrappin'!! Now, it is 12:40 and I'm off to bed here to read for a bit.

I went to bed at 8:15pm!!! That's a record for NYE :giggle Ever since we got back from our trip it's been non stop cleaning, laundry, running around... need a vacation from the vacation. Plus, I've been having these dull headaches from trying to taper off of caffeine. NOT. FUN!
 
We went to a friends house for a party, but I was sick. I was up the night before throwing up (I think food poisoning), so I was not really in the mood for a party (eating and drinking were the last things on my mind).
