I have a question, I have soooo many photos of my two children. I have real problems with it to bring all into a layout, double pages I do not like that. I find it a shame if I had to leave out some photos in my layouts. I like to, in a layout are often 4 or 5 photos to see no more.
So my question is how do you do it?
P.S. My English is not so good, I have used Google Language Tools
When I want to include lots of pictures on a layout, the best help I have found is from Karah's Stuck Together frames. There are 16 packs...you'll find something to suit you. The other thing is Val's Frame Me.
Oooh! Good question. I also can't bear to leave any photos off!
Laura - your pages are gorgeous and Karah's templates look so fun!
Some more ideas:
Add photos to templates where cutouts or paper blocks were intended
Add an edge photo cluster
Resize and crop the photos small
Use a traditional (paper-style) blocked design
Or just freestyle
And of course, double page spreads are great for lots of photos
Make some photos into elements and since I always forget about what is in the background of my photos, I quite often [have to] extract and do this, like the toys in the foreground in this page
And there are lots of wonderful examples just browsing in the gallery here!
I agree. I find that using a template that allows for many photos is a great way to keep a page pulled together without getting too cluttered.
another idea that i've done several times (quite often actually, because I take about a million pictures it seems ) is to do the layout with three or four photos that you really love and then do supporting page(s) that are simply the other photos from that photo shoot. so I will have one cute layout to capture the memory & tell the story, and then two or three 12x12 pages after it in the album that simply display the rest of the photos. does that make sense? sorry, i don't have any examples to post at the moment.
