None adequate anyway.

I am not even sure what to say, because I'm so moved by the outpouring of kindness contained in the "virtual baby shower" threads. And they were so unexpected.

But what a beautiful surprise to see. And what an amazing reminder of the...family...that I have found in this creative community. How "strangers" have become friends. How friends have become more than that. How we are entwined together with shared experiences and a love for keeping memories. And how we cheer each other on in times of joy and triumph and how we hold each others' hands in times of trial.

I.am.so.blessed. And humbled. And I thank you for sharing in this joy with me.

Our baby-on-the-way is a gift we have been wishing and hoping for for many years. And I think because it's our second, and because it has been so long, this kind of celebrating fell to the wayside a bit. So thoughts of "showers" and parties have just gone quiet --which is completely ok--but it makes this one here in our forum mean even more to me.

So thank you so much! For the fun and the smiles and warm words of uplift. They mean more to me than you'll ever know.

well, I'm not sure what blubbering means, don't have any idea of hot mess sea cows either....but if I had to guess, I imagine you are getting the way I am 98% of the time.... which is something I have learned to embrace, because it shows I still care...

You are one awesomely talented woman, I admire you & love what you create, the way you are with customers always.... I'm so glad we can share this marvelous moments with you :heartlub:beat:heartlub

Aw, Sara, you are just precious!! We are so happy for you and your family. We can't wait to 'meet' your new little one.
 
We are excited for you, and it is really FUN to celebrate new little ones. I have never been a part of a 'virtual' shower, but it is fun to watch it all unfold!

And go ahead and blubber away - you are allowed that at this point!
 
I love you, my friend. I can't wait for you to enjoy the fullness of the blessings your new baby will bring. As another with a large gap between children, I can tell you that it becomes all the sweeter for the waiting. I am thrilled for you, DG and Bugga. I am also so happy that you're enjoying the virtual shower...seacow(?!!) or not. {{{hugs}}}
 
You deserve every bit of blubbering, Sara. You are so special around here and I'm so happy for you and your family. Just wish we were closer so I could take newborn photos! :)
 
Lol, you are too cute Sara. Cannot wait to see pictures...I'm a little nuzto when it comes to all that squishy goodness :p. You all must be so excited!

As another resident of Florida, blubbering sea cows are the cutest and sweetest! Good luck to you Sara, can't wait to see pics! :beat
