Snow Storm

Sorry I have been MIA this weekend but we have had quite a snow storm for our area. We got 12 inches in a day which is more than we have had in over 15 years. So we have been sledding, shoveling and enjoying the beautiful snow.

Our road this morning - we have been stuck at home since Friday morning. Hoping to get out tomorrow, especially since we finally realized that my Highlander is equipped with 4 wheel drive. We were heading to a great sledding spot here.

You know I live in Northern Ontario so there's always lots of snow and it kind of gets on my nerves... but there's always something magical about seeing a lovely winter scene with the snow covered branches....

Wow - that amount is probably pretty unusual for you down there! How fun! My brother-in-law and Sister-in- law were supposed to leave this morning for Lake Gaston in NC, but they are not leaving until tomorrow now because they didn't want to drive in the snow!
