Do you enjoy smoothies? Once in a while or lotsa?

I've had this one: The Green Monster and it was yum-o! Now thinking of branching out further in to smoothiedom..and there are so many options! It's exciting, but I'm more of a "this is really awesome via word of mouth" kind of girl vs. I'll try this mysterious new smoothie and find out it's yick kind of girl.

Have you had a smoothie you've loooved? Mind sharing the recipe? :flirty

I'm not very inventive. I just throw a yogurt (whatever flavor I have) and a banana in the blender, add some frozen fruit (again whatever I have) and then add juice/milk/soy milk to make it the right consistency. Spinach goes in if I have it. lol

I do any frozen fruits and fresh fruits. I don't put anything else with it. I just use a combo of whatever I have. So I don't really have a recipe. I used to put spinach in mine all the time too.

We drink smoothies VERY regularly. We all LOVE them!
We mostly put milk (or orange juice) with yogurt and fruit (usually banana's and blueberries)
but we have tried putting strawberries and peaches but the banana blueberry is everyone's favorite.

yeah... I have 2 smoothies a day usually... I can't do dairy, so it's my way of getting my calcium because almond milk alone is gross LOL

I usually just add whatever I can find LOL... and don't really follow any recipes... I just usually make them green by adding some kale in it... but otherwise it's almond milk, frozen fruit and kale or spinach... and I usually add an apple instead of a banana for the sweetness

when I really want a sweet treat... I'll mix: almond milk, frozen banana, peanut butter and some chocolate chips or chocolate syrup

My usual:
half a banana, handful of either strawberries or blueberries, 1/2 cup milk, ice, protein powder and kale or spinach (whichever one I have in the house)

If I want a chocolately one I put in a tbsp of sugar-free, fat-free chocolate pudding mix with the above.

Sometimes I add peanut butter too if I have WW points to splurge with.

Oooh I hadn't thought of a sweet-treat style one!

And I'm definitely going to have to try Kale!

Thanks for more ideas!!

Oooh thank you so much for those Amy!!

I really want to get a Magic Bullet! Especially after seeing it in action. :)

I just switch around the green monster smoothie depending on what I have in the fridge.
It always has almond milk, bananas and spinach, and I might add blueberries, rasberries, strawberries, greek yoghurt, cocoa, honey, choc topping, ice cream etc

i don't but i always want to! oooooh, i can't wait to try some of these yummy ones! hopefully i'll have more time to splurge this summer! YAY!

oh, i think my kids would benefit from protein powder with all the sports and running around they do! what is the best brand and the best place to buy that?

I have experimented with alot of smoothies over the last 6 months or so and I've come to the conclusion that I don't like them. Mostly because I *think* what my tastebuds are looking for is a milkshake, and so I don't find myself happy with the fruit/veggie/almond milk/yogurt combo.
