Well, mine worked. Sorry, that's frustrating...

I would clear your cookies (or restart your computer/browser). Sometimes that will fix it.

Hmmm... when you click Go Advanced, is "Disable smilies in text" checked? If it's not, also on the page when you Go Advanced, at the bottom of the page there should be a list of permissions. Does it say Smilies are On?

Have you installed an ad blocker recently? Or upgraded something?

disable smilies in text is NOT checked, and smilies is ON, thanks for the suggestion though...but still no smiles


and no, have not added any blockers lately...isn't technology fun???!!!

i have to drag mine over from the box where all the smilies are to where i am typing - just clicking doesn't do anything for me either (i am on a mac and using safari)
