Gone, but not forgotten

Last year, we focused on techniques to add interest to our layouts. This year, I am starting a new series. I would like to take this year to dive deep into telling meaningful stories and writing out some of those memories that I've been putting off creating layouts for.

Each month, please join me for an *extra* slow scrap. I will host a chat with a prompt and ideas for multiple ways to document stories within the prompts. Then, you will have 48 hours to create your layout...yep...extra time, in case you need to find a photo or rustle up a memory.

This month...our topic is Gone, but not forgotten

This doesn't have to be a sappy sad memory...but we are talking about something we have lost.

October 15 | Gone, but not Forgotten

You may interpret the prompt in any way that is meaningful to you. Here are a few ideas to get your mind thinking deeper.

1. A relative, pet, friend, etc.... who has passed away

2. A friend who moved away

3. An item that you misplaced and still look for

4. The socks that got eaten by the dryer

5. A child's favorite stuftie (or even pacifier)

Instructions
1. Use the prompt "Gone, but not forgotten" - and you don't have to put the prompt on your page, but please make it obvious that it's for this scrap. Feel free to change up the prompt...but it should be clear that it's for this specific scrap.
2. Add a meaningful story - yes...journal! but there isn't a limit or certain amount....it's all you
3. Photos optional
4. Make a page you LOVE.

Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.

***You have 48 hours (from Oct 16 at 10am) to complete your LO***

I hate to say I love this topic, There are so many kits that honor this theme so well.

Last Monday, I joined Planet Fitness gym, which was built a few years ago inside what used to be the grocery store where I shopped circa 2005 and then was vacant for about a decade. Even though it was vacant, it was a landmark for my husband and me and we kept calling it "the Ukrops building." I guess now that we joined the gym, we'll be calling it by its new name though. It has been kind of weird walking in the building again after so long, knowing I used to frequent it, but barely being able to remember it, no matter how much I try.

is it ok, that the word art tell , who Karen was. Her and me, when young, playing pinball at hotel when my parents went to nigra falls, and her in the envo suv, when we went to visit, she always smiled.
I could not journal the memory's yet.
