SLOW SCRAP Instructions and Layouts (9/30)

Step 1: Choose one photo and one journal card and place them close to each other near the middle of the page (side by side or top/bottom). Note: it doesn't have to be a pre-made card... can be clipped paper with or without wordart, for example

Step 2: Choose a neutral (ish) background paper and add a border at the top and/or bottom. Border can be paper/ribbon/trim, etc, but must include at least 2 layers.

Step 3: Add several layers of paper or more cards behind the photo and journal card, stacking them and anchoring them with fasteners of some kind (staples, tape, stitching, buttons, etc)

Step 4: Add arrows or chevrons on the sides that point toward the center of the page. AND add 2 tags to the page, one at top and one at bottom, including the date on one of these.

Step 5: Add some wordart over your photo. Can be a tag that simply overlaps the photo a bit or one of the new mobile products, or just text on the image. P.S. This can be your title.

Step 6: Add journaling below your paper stack, a title if needed, any additional elements you want and your shadows.

Great looki pages already...was all ready to sign into chat and then had a family emergency...now sitting in hospital with dear father in law...not life threatening just a scare...maybe might need to do a page tonight for mind therapy!!!

love all the different takes on this challenge! so fun to see how it is all interpreted. :)
 
Love! The inspiration page will be posted in about an hour at the deadline. I love seeing the inspiration and all of the interpretations of the instructions. One of my fave parts of speed *cough* scraps.
