Technique: Using a Formula of combining a Photo, A Tittle and Elements to create your page's Focal Point-
We are chatting and scrapping in about 40 minutes!!!!! You will have until tomorrow 3pm EST - 12- NOON PST to complete your page!!!! so come chat, have fun, scrap as we chat or scrap after and we can have a great time at the same time we learn!!!
I will post whatever you need here as we chat, so if you can't attend the chat, you can still complete a page and post tomorrow in the gallery before deadline!!!!
Creating focal points can be done in many ways, we will concentrate today in using a formula that always is successful for me! Combining tittle Photo & embellishments to create it.
A Focal Point is the core of your LO, the centre of attention, the main part of your story, or the part of your page you want the main attention directed to.
Today I would like you to create a page with a Focal Point that is created by using A Tittle and elements around or overlapping the photo.
TO be able to create this, you will need to scrap a minimum of 2 photos, thought more will be even more effective.
Keep the photos approximately the same size, because, even though one of the most effective ways of creating a Focal point can be the size of whatever you want o be your Focal Point, the photo or the tittle or the journaling…the possibilities are endless but this time I would like you to just use one of the photos, title and elements to create it.
The Focal Point does not need to be the actual center of the page , vertically or horizontally, it can be anywhere in the page, but you will use the tittle and elements to transform the photo that is no much different in size to the others into the focal point, super easy!
So to resume, FIRST and IMPORTANT:
Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery.
GALLERY RULES: Layouts MUST CONTAIN AT LEAST 50% TLP PRODUCTS (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. LIST ALL CREDITS NO OFF-SITE LINKING ALLOWED
We are making a page that has 2 (two) or more photos.
The photos should be kept at more or less the same size-
One of the photos will be used to create the FOCAL POINT, using a good tittle and at least 5 elements with the photo you have chosen.
So , looking forward to your pages!!!
Every page completed by deadline will get a coupon from amazing Allison Pennington!!!!!!
