Hi everyone. I'll be in the chat area at noon PST today and will give out instructions every 10 minutes until 1 o'clock. The instructions will be posted here also. You will have 24 hours (until 1:00 pm PST on February 2nd). You must post your layout within that time period in the speed scrap gallery and here in this thread to be eligible for a prize coupon.
I hope you will love your page, follow my instructions as best you can but adapt slightly if desired. Can't wait to see them all!
NOON:
I want you to start with a white (or neutral close to white) 12 x 12 paper.
You are going to place a square 4x4 black and white photo in the center of the page.
12:10
Centre 5" x 8" vertical patterned paper under photo, with 1/2" showing on left side under photo. Place it with bottom edge of PP 3-1/2" below photo. Now add a 4" x 4" patterned paper under photo (on top of the previously placed PP), showing about 1" off to the left under photo and should peek out about 1/2" below, under photo.

Place 4 or 5 elements under photo, tucked under the left edge (so they will be on top of the 2 patterned papers you have already placed). Now add a brad/button/flair on top of photo, about 1" from top and half on and half off the left side of photo.

Place a 6 x 1/2" strip overtop of your photo, along the bottom, butting up against the right edge of your photo (so you should have some extending off to the left of your photo). You may use anything for your strip (ribbon, lace, paper, etc) and the measurement should be long and narrow but doesn't have to be exact.

Fill up your page with paint, brush work, stamps, texture, overlays, etc. Add as little or as much as you desire but leave some white space too. You can add these above and below layers as desired.
12:50
Add title to the right of your photo. Underneath it add 2 pieces of wordart/journaling strips/washi/paper, etc (about 2" wide). Overlap the two pieces a bit and anchor with a button/staple/thread, etc.
1:00
Add journaling text/journal strips/wordart, etc below photo, on top of the long vertical strip of paper. Add a small element below that. OPTIONAL: add date/location to the lower left side of page.
***optional*** add date and/or location somewhere to the left lower portion of your page.
That's it! All done! I'll check the layouts tomorrow and send out the participation coupons at that time.
