I used to always sleep on my stomach until I had my children. Having three children in 6 years and always trying to sleep on my left side changed my sleeping habits. Now suddenly, I find myself waking up on my stomach.

It just made me curious - how do you prefer to sleep? And has your "preference" changed over the years?

I like to sleep on my side and usually do but there are those nights where I end up on my stomach....and I pay for it the next day with an aching back!

I sleep on my right side, sort of in a ball, with my right arm under my head on the right side of the bed. I have slept like this forever! I must be tossing and turning though lately because all my pillows and blankets have been falling off the bed on the left side.

I'm struggling with this right now. I have a nasty kink in the left side of my neck, which makes it difficult to get comfortable. I'm trying to sleep without a pillow, keep my neck/back aligned, which seems to be helping but it's not the most comfortable way to sleep.

I like to sleep on my side, kind of on my stomach, with one arm up underneath my pillow and one leg stretched out. lol I take up lots of space in the bed!

Lately I sleep curled into a ball, on my left side, at the very edge of the bed. I'm sure one of these days I'm going to fall out. I can't do stomach sleeping *at all* but can sometimes sleep on my back, which I never used to do.

Sleeping on my stomach makes my back ache, so it's either back or side sleeping for me.

On either side and go back and forth. My hubby is a stomach sleeper. Not comfortable for me

my back...and flip to the sides but something always ends up hurting and I end up back on my back!

I have one of those memory foam formed pillows and it's the only way I can sleep so I don't have a sore neck.

The joys of getting older I guess!

I always wake up on my back - seems to be my most comfortable position. I move around a lot during the night, though.

On my side, facing away from my husband. Don't touch me and for God's sake don't breathe on me. lol

I fall asleep on my stomach but flip to my sides during the night. Even when I was pregnant I fell asleep on my stomach for as long as was comfortably possible.

I used to sleep on my back, but as a teen I developed asthma and would cough so much at night I switched to my side. I usually sleep with my arm under my head and pillow, even though it causes a lot of shoulder strain I can't seem to help it.

This is me too. I start coughing when on my back too. (asthma) But I sometime wake up on DH side of the bed...lol
