Since MOC is all about challenges ...

One of my biggest challenges is comparison --whether it is comparing my scrap style, my inability to quickly complete layouts, my photos, etc, etc, etc. Silly stuff, because when it comes down to it, I always want to improve, but my goal is to record my family's memories and so I just need to do that.

And ladies who have never printed, I will say that putting my albums together and looking through them is one of the biggest scrapping motivators to me. There is something about seeing them printed out, sharing them with my boys, seeing their joy as they read through the journaling, hearing their giggles when they read something that they said---that totally motivates me to keep going and to make this hobby a priority.

I need to be better about guarding some time each week to devote to it! because life can be so crazy sometimes...

Balance. Balancing photography, getting pages done, being involved in forums/community, and then designing my own products on the side. And, you know, the rest of my life. :)

Definitely printing out my pages...Anne totally had me convinced...but then I was a little tight on the moolah, and never got around to doing it :whistle but don't tell Anne!!

whaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAt!! we had FREE coupons!! oh you is in deep deep trouble now!

Titles. I like titles, but they never quite turn out how I want. That & my shadowing needs lots of work.

Making time is a challenge for me! With a traveling hubby and three teenagers in year round sports, we are BUSY! Time is a precious commodity, and as much as I want to to document our life I don't want to miss our lives. :( Sometimes I feel guilty when I lock myself away from the family to scrap - but I love it!

Finding time to scrap. Also , I scrap chronologically. Which means I am wayyyyyyy behind. Working on 2013 vol2 right now!!! Yikesssss!!

Finding time. That and picking out my starting design/elements/papers. Once I get going I'm fine, but it's just the initial start most of the time that holds me up.

Using the color pink. I can't stand the color, but it's so popular.

Ah, let's see, getting organized, not so good at that. I don't print because we are nomads and never in one country long, but it is not a hang up, one day we will settle down and I will print, if I am organized.

Journaling and finding things in my digital stash. I've yet to find a system for organizing files which wouldn't take days/weeks to complete but still would help my find a specific embellishment, if I need it...

My biggest challenge is that in a little over week I am heading off to the beach for 10 nights (which is AHmazing and fabulous and so much FUN) for our annual family beach holiday but ........... we are all in a unit together and the family get restless when I am not paying them attention there for some reason so its a bit of a struggle getting scrap time. The challenge is getting up early enough that I can get the pages done before my lazy bones family get out of bed :giggle

I use the Search bar in Finder (Mac) 100 times a day. And if you have all of your TLP stuff together, it makes it even easier. I have found that designers here do a fantastic job labeling items so they can be found easier.

It's always been printing and organizing my photos & stash to actually find something when I want/need it, not when two week/months/YEARS later! ;)

However, I was challenged to start decluttering my EHD and sorting my photos over the holidays and now I have just 1 more year of photos to sort and 3 file folders of digit supplies to sort. I'm not even going to try to tag the supplies this month. Maybe I'll just do monthly goals for that starting in Feb. Now that I've decluttered, it won't take as long. :)

Really just making the time! Or not getting distracting by looking at all the pretty kits :giggle

I love the really clean and simple layouts. When I see one I think to myself " I could so do that!" But then when I try, my LOs end up clunky looking.

It takes practice to break out of your comfort zone, but honestly, you "messy" pages are so wonderful, I don't know that you need to very often. Love your gallery :)

learning new techniques. I really want to learn and grow, but it just seems like there isn't enough time. When I have scrap time I want to scrap instead of spending time on classes/tutorials.
