I just discovered the awesomeness that is Vera Bradley. I actually have a bag and matching wallet that I picked up at a shop in an outlet mall- not VB but styled like that- I had no idea who VB was at the time. I have had many people ask me if my bag was a VB. After a while I decided to check out the website. I am doomed. Let's just say I got my shopping bag down to a little over $300. Sigh. If only I could actually hit the buy button.

So is anyone else into Vera Bradley? If so, show me your stuff! If I can't buy it myself, maybe I can live vicariously through everyone else's collections:whistle

Oh I love that tote, that' one of the items in my shopping bag. I love the Hope Garden pattern too. Darn, wish I had a birthday coming up.

Supposedly having a small Vera Bradley backpack and a lunchbag is like the inn thing for middle schoolers around my way. I just don't get why. I would think young kids would want something more um loud and crazy looking, u know? I showed my daughter who is going into middle school and she really doesn't like the style. I wonder if she'll change her mind by the fall and I'll be purchasing my first Vera Bradley item!
 
Courtney, I noticed while reading reviews that there are ALOT of middle schoolers (and students in general) using vb bags. Especially the lunch bags.

i also have one in Carnaby but it was a gift and not sure what it was..a Besty maybe??? I also have a few wallets and clutches. Most of these came from the Outlet sale so they are older styles. I just loooooooooove VB's! I love having a purse to match every outfit. Purses have and always will be my absolute biggest weakness! :heartslub

I've always thought they looked like old lady bags, and when I went to visit my sister (my OLDER sister), she was using one, had all the accessories, and actually has a closet full and just ordered more. Then, I hear about all you young gals that love them. I just had to go shopping and look at them the other day. I didn't buy anything, although I might have gotten a sunglass case if they had the big ones. It looks like it's not in their catalog anymore either. My sister had one and I would've liked one.

That "mail bag in make me blush" is really really cute though Crystal. I could probably carry something like that!

I didn't know VB made purses with handles other than the fabric ones. That clutch style one is really cute! I don't have any VB right now for myself (Coach bags are my fave) but I have bought quite a bit of VB for my MIL over the years. I did get the pencils as a teacher gift last year.

Oh Crystal I just saw your post! You lucky! I love that chacha. So cute. I haven't seen that one. I just discovered a local shop that sells them. We went in yesterday and they have just about everything. Ugh I could have just stayed in there all day LOL! My hubby bought me the hipster (see last post) and an eyeglass case but I returned it when I found out it wouldn't fit my sunglasses and my readers like I thought it would.

Next I want a wallet to match my new bag. Actually I'll take one of everything... in my dreams!
 
So please....explain this obsession to me then. Is it the cute material? Is it because they look handmade and that's kind of in fashion right now? I could understand my sis loving them...she's 55 and wants a lightweight bag because her back is bad, but she's really totally obsessed with them too. Way beyond just the lightweight fabric. So really, tell me what is it that makes you younger gals want these so badly?
