What was the last page that included a picture of yourself?! Do you make time to scrap pictures of you?

My kids asked me the other day why I always check the pictures after I take them with them! :giggle I said that's vanity, and in the moment it is, and I can snap another if I don't like that picture... but it's not just my chin or my hair - but maybe my eyes are closed, or theirs are... or they are making weird faces on purpose. I've learned my lesson - the little sneaks do that!

But looking back, I find I care a lot less than I used to! Those that know me, know me. And my kids sure know me, lol!

I have included pics of me in a LOT of my pages, but I am usually not the subject! So, I'm hoping I can join in Cheryl's Finding Me series with both things of me and pictures of me, past and present! I think my kids might enjoy reading about these things, though later on in life. haha!

My grandmother is 100. We had a birthday party for her this past July. I was thrilled I caught a picture of her enjoying a "Pudding Shot" with a lovely little smirk on her face! She loved the pic and the pudding shot! It might not be the best picture, and she might not like her lovely wrinkles, but it's my gram, and I love it. She smiles and giggles... and I think she likes to hear how much I love the photo! I hope to be like that when I get to be her age!
 
Yesterday, a friend took this shot of me while we were in an Indian restaurant so I could send the picture to another friend who lives in India. I miss my Indian friend’s wonderful cooking!

I've actually scrapped 5 MOC pages that have photos of me. Some are from the archives aka my childhood but one includes a photo that was screencapped from one of my Ring cameras in the house right after I got up. I am not at my best in that one since I'm trying to coax Peyton into going outside. She wanted to play hide and seek instead. Also, my Finding Me title page includes the last professional photo taken of me for our church directory. It was from last May. My hobbies page also includes an older photo of me.
 
The last few layouts have included me!
Wow, I think the new me is feeling much more comfortable in front of the camera.

Cheryl's Finding me series is a really great project to play along with, and the best thing is that we are all rooting for you.

@HavaDrPepper Yay! I don't have many of my childhood pictures, but my kids will have tons! :giggle And the Ring is never a good look for me! Haha! I have a video of me slipping that is pretty funny though!

Ring came in handy on the 5th... I forgot to take 5 photos that day for my "5 on 5" book. Ring to the rescue!

So cute! Those smiles! Yay for you in pictures! When I look back on my images from when my kids were this little, I don't miss this age, but I do want to pause time now, lol! I also looked super young and stress free! :giggle

I can totally relate to this image and word art! I love it - here I am, and how I feel! You had a stressful time recently, I hope things have settled!
 
From Christmas week. 2 photos of me but mostly because they were family photos. I am scattered throughout our family album...thankfully my hubby sneaks in pictures of me. I'm sure to grab his photos each week.



Here's a selfie of my daughter and I (it's the most recent close up of me). From Nov.
 
When I used a "regular" camera, I was hardly ever in the photo but since I've started taking selfies with my phone, I almost always include myself, even if just at the edge. This was New Year's Eve.

 
I include myself in my scrapbook pages a lot. I put selfies in my journal too. Six of my MOC pages contain photos of me, though only a couple are recent photos. A few of my pages in December have current photos of me on them though. Here's my most recent photo on a MOC page, Day 1; photo is from November.
 
I make so many layouts with photos of myself, it's silly. Mainly it's because both hubby and son hates it when I take their photos. But, I do scrap a lot about who I am, why I am the way I am, and so on.

It's not really a page about me, but I'm in my most recent layout! I don't love selfies of my face right up close to the camera, but I'd rather be in the pictures, so whatever! :giggle

 
Hmmm... I'm not really sure now that I think about it. I might have to be a bit more intentional about getting into my pictures and including stuff about me in the pages of my albums. Off to see if i can find anything in my gallery.
 


I definitely do not take enough pictures with me in them. I hate selfies and my husband takes terrible pictures! My oldest son took a photography course in HS this year and has gotten pretty good at it, so I need to have him take more photos with me in them! The above LO was the last MOC challenge and I included a selfie of me and my daughter even though it was terrible! My daughter was trying to show me how to take one outside in our garden on a beautiful summer day, but it was still dark. There is also a little one of me and the hubby and we probably looked ridiculous trying to take it because neither one of us are good at selfies, LOL!
 
I’m really good at including myself in my photos. I often ask someone else to snap a photo of me, I know that it won’t happen if I don’t ask for it. This is my last page with me in it.
