Okay, so I'm waiting for my "invite", but I have a question... why would you need to "re-pin"? Do some of the images get deleted after a while?
 
if you see an image on someone elses board, you can "repin" it onto your board. You can create an original pin by finding something cool online and pinning it, but 90% of my pins are repins from someone else!
 
I also just "like" stuff I find on there and then go through my likes later instead of re-pinning.
