seen today at the wildpark. (ideal motherhood here, people. snoozing in the sunshine with peaceful happy babes...aaaaaaaaaaah. the REAL thing? usually looks a little different here!!)

I wish I had thought to take a picture of me cleaning up poop like I seem to do ALL THE TIME..or vomit...or middle of the night cuddles. that's motherhood for me...among other things.

Ha... Crystal. Might you have a little one potty training?? I seem to be cleaning lots of the poop lately with my potty trainer and I am so ready to just go insane. Definitely what motherhood looks like around here!!

I instantly thought of this set of photos. For me, motherhood is learning how to deal with my mom... and i'm sure... her learning how to deal with me.
ok. so here is us when i was 13 (at my bat mitzvah and with my grandfather):
and at my portfolio show when i was 24 and with my step dad:
apparently other than me growing up, nothing has changed. i still like navy and she still likes purple.... oh. and we totally have learned how to deal with each other's craziness.

Sorry... don't know how to flip this.
The majority of photos I take could fall in this category, but this is the first one that came to mind. I took this the other day with my phone. This is how I see my daughter most often... coming looking up at me either demanding something or just wanting attention, her pigtails recently pulled out (she won't keep them in for long.)
