She is no longer my baby

well actually she will always be my baby

She is now 2 and 3 months and we have ditched the bottle,nappies during the day,moved from a baby bedroom with a cot to a toddler girly room with a bed and im gonna work on getting her dry at night which wont take long cause she is almost there and she may have a place in nursery for a few hours a day if they agree to funding,at first i only wanted her to go a couple of week days but no its all week days or nothing and i was going to turn it down but if i get the funding then im lucky so would be silly to turn it down she will love it it will be me who has the problem at first but look at the scrapping ill get done

anyway when did my baby grow up

Goodness that did seem to go fast! Seems like just yesterday you were announcing you were pregnant! Time sure does fly by with our little ones! My "baby" just turned 7 a few weeks ago and I catch myself looking at him sometimes and thinking who is this big boy and where did my chubby little baby go?

I know frightening isn't it,my eldest is 12 now and doesn't do much with us anymore,if like to stop the clock on gabbi now I like this age

It's so hard when they get older and pass milestones. I just had my last little one in September and my oldest is already 7. I have no idea where the time went!

I feel the same way. We just celebrated the little one's first birthday and I feel like it went by in a blur. Within a week she was walking and not taking a bottle anymore.It's like I blinked and we are now in a new phase.

I totally feel the same one!!! Derek is 2.5 and is going to be starting preschool in August. It just breaks my heart that he is growing up way too fast!!!!

oh Karen, I feel for you. It is so hard when those little milestones arrive. I almost cried the other day because I went to Carter's and they don't make a size 7 there, it was a reminder than I don't have a baby any more!

Aww dalis,if she gets a place at this nursery that will be the final blow cause she is my last baby to have done it but ill survive,I really hope she gets a place cause I had to go into Finlay's school yesterday and she was trying to take her coat off saying me me

Karen, sounds like she is ready for some "I can do it myself" time... it is so hard.

yeah she is she is so independent now,least my house will be clean for 3 hours a day lol
